I bought a Linksys WRT-120N a few days ago in a panic when my ancient router died on me suddenly. I bought it from Wal-mart so I could have it immediately, but now that I have read a few reviews on it, I was wondering if I should return it and get something else. I paid about $40 for it.

The WRT-120N has an Atheros chip and calls itself an "N" router but is actually not officially draft N compliant. I do get nearly full signal strength from it though.

I was looking at this refurbished E1000 on Amazon for $23. Is it a good deal?

Or can anyone recommend another one or keep the one I have? I don't want to spend much more than $40, maybe $50 if it is a big leap. I have no need for many fancy features, I just want a good solid router that will last a while.
