Hot? X58 MSI mATX board b-stock @ cdw: $56 + tax/shipping

Seems pretty hot. What's typically included with b-stock motherboards from cdw?

The link takes me back to a categories page and not to the motherboard. I was only able to find the regular priced board at 199.

tempting. to bad im not int he market to upgrade my system anytime soon though.

i have not looked at my mother board but i have a msi big bang power with some bent pins in the cpu socket. now that i saw this i am think is the socket replaceable? i was thinking of picking one of these up anyway if its not replaceable just use the bstock.

Mash, I sent a MSI board in with bent pins, they charged me $35 shipped to replace the socket, plus my shipping in. I got an RMA first.

I am actually considering getting one to replace my Asrock X58 Extreme (it has booting issues from time to time). Except for some easily remedied cooling problems on this board, it looks like a great option.

It is possible to do that by hand, but difficult (verging on very difficult). I would guess the motherboard manufacturers have a machine that puts the board in the press, heats/desolders all the pins at once, then does the same for the new socket.

If, like Ronbo says, MSI is willing to do that for only $35 - that's a great deal.
