Over the years, if you have been proficient in the area of computer technology, it’s a pretty sure bet at some point you have been labeled a nerd. Do you ever wonder where the term originated or what it actually means? Well read on and enlighten your nerdy self. :D
 
When i first glanced at this title, I saw " A Sports Illustrated History of the Nerd"
 
if you saw "sports illustrated history.......," you are definitely not a nerd.
 
As cliche and corny as it sounds, I routinely refer to myself as a Nerd. I wear it as a badge of honor.

Not trying to start some debate, but I would say it has no impact on your "nerdiness" or not. Sport vs. short and "Sports Illustrated" is a very well known publication. Rather than nerdiness in question, it's just a matter of word association and not reading carefully enough.


Anyway, on topic the article was pretty entertaining. I enjoyed a lot of the pictures.
 
Sick to death of the whole nerd / geek shit. Been done to death / hell and back for years. Enough. I refuse to believe people really truly get an honest laugh out of this crap.
 
the bad part is that I still have that c programing book.

It was in London, UK, and it was some Star Wars related display, and it was endorsed by Lucas! It was the real deal...
