Unopened and unused retail boxes. So unfortunately, I can't tell you much about how these chips specifically overclock. Both the 2600K and 990X have a very good reputation though!
 
Well that's a bummer, can't find any info on those. The 990's seem a bit more consistent in general than the 980's though.
 
dang I want that i7 2600k... It's just a hair out of my budget dang gl with sale
