nice rig bro but do you know if i were to take out the bracket for the odd/hdd would there be enough space to fit a sfx psu in the front of the case?

If you give me the dimensions I'll measure for you next weekend, I'm on vacation until next saturday. You'll need to get a right-angled or left-angled power cord other wise as you see in my pictures the power plug sticks to far out.

125 mm (W) × 63.5 mm(H) × 100 mm(D) thanks alot!

that looks really nice! i've been waiting for this case for months here in the US. do you have any more pics of it? or maybe the same pic in higher resolution?

I got a highres pic if u want, but no other pics of my case. Tell me where to upload or pm me an e-mail and I'll send it to you. I really like the case, but it is big, and I can't understand why they didn't make both hd-cages removable for sli/crossfire

maybe you can upload the original high res pic on imageshack and just link it on here or put it as a thumbnail link so we can see the details of the pic.

the bottom HD cage is not removable?? what is it held down to or bolted by? if it's just connected to the bottom of the case, maybe you can just drill out the rivets that hold it down

Fantastic, really compliments, great...

My almost new build ;)

Case : Silverstone Sugo SG02W-F
CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 955
CPU Cooler : Scythe Big Shuriken
RAM : 2 X 4gb Crucial 1333
HDD : WD Caviar Black 1 TB
GPU : Radeon HD 5870 2gb Eyefinity 6
Motherboard : Biostar A880G+
PSU : Antec Earthwatt 750watts

At fisrt, I was planing to fit my Gemini II S as a cpu cooler, but it does NOT FIT. So I had to find something else thinner, like the Big Shuriken. It's a great silent cooler, but not a performer. Running Prime95 for 10min and the temp was at 80c (room 27c), but it fits :D.
I had a hard time managing the cable since my PSU is not fully modular and there's not a lot a space to hide them but overall it's not so bad for a first time in SFF.
I choose this case because I could fit my 11" long Radeon 5870 and it looks like you caould put even longer (however, the card always put a bit of pressure on the power connector of the HDD).

Have a nice day ;)

Thanks. I was tired of all those black boxes you see everywhere so I tried the white version, definitly look greater than the black :). I would have prefer an aluminium front but the look is great anyway.
I was looking for a SFF at first for a web/ftp server but I realized I could actually put my computer in it, thats all for the history of this build :p.

after having a "silver" SG06 with an alumi front, I'd rather have a painted white one :p

This is a picture from a Lian-Li PC-Q07 build that I did. This is the custom ATX PSU cover plate I built so I could use a picoPSU with the case.

PC+2011-02-24+016.JPG

It gives me somewhere to plug in the external power jack and mount an 80mm fan too. The PC-Q07 doesn't have any case fans. I have a ASUS H61 mini-itx motherboard, 64GB SSD, 4GB Kingston ValueRAM and i3-2100 in there.

Look how tight the picoPSU fits against the RAM:

2011-05-04+001+%25282%2529.jpg

After I got it all put together I decided I didn't need the fan so I made another cover plate with just the jack. The system runs nearly silet. I am using it as a bedroom HTPC.

I've also done builds in the Lian-Li PC-Q09 and Rosewill RC-CIX-01 cases. I'll try to get some pictures of those up. I have them all on my blog I just have to fill in some words around the pictures to turn them into proper reviews so I am not sure if it's worth reposting it all here.

Just finished the following

Intel i5 2500K
Corsair H60
Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3
16gb (4x4gb) G. Skill Ripjaw DDR3 1333
Two ASUS HD6870s in Crossfire
ASUS Xonar Dx Sound Card
Crucial C300 SATA 6gb/s 64gb SSD
Western Digital SATA 6gb/s 500gb HDD
Sony Optiarc SATA DVDRW
Xigmatek 700w Green PSU
Two CoolerMaster Red R4 120mm fans
Silverstone SG03-BF

The case has been modified for 5 expansion slots instead of 4 to support crossfire as well as a soundcard. It was then painted red inside and out.

It handles games very well, and I've started OC'ing the CPU quite a bit. Currently at 4.2ghz @ 1.056v. I'm pleased.

^^Great work. Is that PSU not modular? What kind of temps are you getting in there?

^ Simply stunning! :D

Thank you!

The PSU is not modular, correct. I was told time and time again that the SG03 simply "needs" a modular PSU. I knew I could do without it, and didn't want to sell my PSU just to rebuy a modular version.

The 2500k idles at 37c at 4.4ghz at 1.3v. Full load is about 60c
The 6870s idle at 35c, and an hour of gaming usually puts them at 63c

I'm very happy with the temperatures at the moment. I have plenty of room to continue overclocking, but 1.1ghz over stock speed with a 0.060v undervolt is good for now.

What are the specs on that pico PSU? I have a few Shuttle PSUs around here I have always been thinking of selling but part of me keeps thinking I could incorporate them into some new SFF system.

I've posted the whole set of images of this rig of mine on a more ITX-gaming-centric board, but I'll contribute a few of them to this thread as well:

IMG_1823.JPG

Let's see if you can guess the specs from these images :)
Hey man! Sent you a PM about this build! :)

Not really a "SFF," however, it's footprint and placement options (for me) make it worth it :) IMO
Placement of rig: between a cabinet and a working place.

Cover mode: activated.

Stealth mode (sans christmas tree light show the mobo gives off...): activated.

That is about half of my CD collection (radio listener up until last year); other half is somewhere on my computer (bought from Amazon, iTunes, Zune, yep, all three :().

I really wanted to give eVGA a chance. Honest. A chance. But now it's almost July, and not even a P67 Micro...

Elpibe...

Looking good as usual...:). That's a pretty thick rad you've got going there. Looks like a Monsta in single 120mm.

I'll pm you my address so you know where to send the DFI board when you're done with it. ;)

Best Regards,

Liquid Cool

P.S. Love the way they set up the psu cage and back legs on this case.

Thanks, that's actually an XSPC RX120 rad. Have it lying around for quite a while and was glad that I was able to squeeze it into this case :D

Elpibe,

I've used a couple of the newer XSPC radiators in the 3x120mm size and have been quite pleased with their performance...

Now I remember what that case reminded me of...Click

:D

Liquid Cool

P.S. Our conversations seem to always get around to memory? :)

That is fantastic, exactly what I'm looking for. Do you have a build log for the custom front panel?

The front panel is from: www.frontpanelexpress.com

I just took some measurements of the existing panel, designed a new one in their program and ordered it. Had them make the countersunk holes for the 4-40 socket head screws which I took from work. I didn't have the equipment to make it myself and they did it all perfectly for $40. I made a little mistake in my measurements so I had to cut a bit of the plastic behind but you cant tell.

I can send you the front panel file if you are interested.

Here's my mATX gaming rig. It's almost finished just need to upgrade a couple fans and sleeve the cables. I am also toying with the idea of a custom loop water cooling.
