Teen Makes LEGO Master Chief Costume

Wow..pretty impressive. Going to show this to my 11 yr old, who is a Lego and Halo fan :D

I never played Halo...was too busy on the PC playing real games like RTCW, Battlefield 1942, Heretic 2, Quake 3 Arena and a few others...

Um, so? This kid still made a cool Lego costume based on a video game character's suit.

Impressive. Most Impressive!

His parents shall have no worries of becoming young grandparents.

That's odd, because Halo 1 & 2 were released for the PC, and to be honest Halo was one of the most fun Multi-players I was involved in since Team Fortress, can't say that any of the one's you mentioned kept my attention for very long.

It's pretty cool, probably close $500-600 worth of Lego there.

Actually, the article says he spent more like $1000 is Legos building the suit. Talk about some commitment! But yeah, it is very cool. And even though he spent that much building it, I'd bet he could easily get at least that much back if he ever decided to sell it. Although if I spent the time and effort to build something that impressive, I'd say I would probably have to keep it. To show how OMG [H]ard I am, of course. :D

If you can exhibit this amount of passion, commitment, and drive into a successful endeavor, more power to you. That personality skill will help in whatever career the kid takes up! Most kids never accomplish anything even half as cool or interesting as this.

+1
What a lot of kids are/aren't doing these days can never compare to this.
