Anyone still big on flight sims?

Can I ask if there's a decent flight sim for the Xbox. My pc is ancient and so is my monitor - upgrading them would cost too much. I'd much rather play on my bigger tv with the sound system.

I know it won't be anything like a real flight sim. The best seems to be Ace Combat 6 but its so old.

btw, I bought the original Falcon 4 on ebay just for the huge printed manual. Reading that thing makes me feel like a fighter pilot :)

Wait, IL-2: Birds of Prey is the same as Wings Of Prey?

Whoa.

Edit: Here is something I recorded while listening to Iron Maiden. I'm really loving the .50/12.7mm particularly in the configuration they're laid out on the P-51D. How the hell do you use the gyroscopic sight?

Sorry about the crap quality, next time I will use Virtualdub in a 2-3 pass in h.264 versus Windows Movie Maker.

Not quite the same, WoP on PC does have a simulation mode that I doubt the console version has.

Which print manual version? There was a binder version and a spiral bound version. I have both versions but it is the binder version that is considered the real collectors item, even though the spiral bound is easier to thumb through.

My Falcon 4.0 that I still have came in like a huge trapper-keeper style casing with that huge ass manual in it. That the one that's a collectors item today?

Does Turn and Burn: No Fly Zone on the SNES count? ;)

I played a lot of helicopter sims at my old job. Had a HOTAS Thurstmaster with rudders. I remember it took about a solid week of playing 2~3 hours after work to get the helicopter off the ground and hover w/out flipping and killing me.

What kind of job does one play helicopter sims at?!
