For me in MA I have to drive into Boston from Lowell. Factoring in gas, the pain in the ass drive getting there, and tax bringing this to $191.25 = no thanks :D.

It's been like that forever as far as I can tell. All the scorching cpu, mobo, and memory deals have always been in store pickup only. It's depressing because we don't have an MC in Washington and the closest Fry's to me is across the state :(
 
Damn, I just got a 2500K from newegg, just delivered today. Sucks they dont credit the promo codes to you anymore when its so close.

Are you sure they don't. I'm in a similar situation and just emailed them. Back in 2010, they helped me with this same situation.

I got a credit for my 5770 after about 2 weeks for $20 bucks, since they had a promo code going for it (I did this last week). Go for it!

I just ordered the 2500K on the 3rd and did a Chat session today and got the 10 credit, This isn't the first time Ive asked for one either. They always give me the credit or they give me a gift card if its been past a week or so. Newegg will always make it right.
