So I am a satisfied owner of an HX850. I recently purchased a dual GPU solution, however, it seems that I misplaced my extra PCIe cables during my last move.

4/11 - Emailed Corsair tech support explaining my situation and asking where I can purchase additional cables.

4/13 - Tech support came back to me with some additional instructions.

4/15 - Got an email this email response.

Hello XXXXX,

We will send you the PCI-E cables immediately. Thank you.

Regards,
Kelvin D.

Now, that is what I call customer service. Major props to Corsair. They make a quality product and provide quality customer service.

Major props to Corsair from this satisfied customer.

Indeed. It's nice to see some companies still providing this kind of customer experience.

They have a link to an email address to contact if you need cables your power supply. I shot an email to it and didn't get any answer.....but the cables showed up two weeks later. Go figure!

Just like to add to this, my TX950 blew a couple of weeks ago - only 10months old at the time. RMA'd it straight away. I have just received a shiny new HX1000 in its place - 5 days after shipping from CA - not bad to get it to the UK so quick. Very impressed with Corsair's service.

Exceelent to see that there are still some companies out there who know how to look after the customer:cool:

From my personnel experience one CANNOT beat Corsiar's CS. I blew it bad on a new PSU.
I made the mistake of cutting a certain sleeve to get to a wire and sure enough being the
knucklehead I am, cut right into the wiring. Zip Zoom Fly had no interest in helping me out
since I blew it. That's where I bought it. I called Corsairs CS and explained how I messed it
up. They told me to send it to them so they could look at it but didn't promise anything..

They contacted me and said "things happen" and they were still looking at the mess I made.

Not more than a week later I received a package from Corsair. I knew it was my new jacked up
PSU with a note stating so sorry, but it's on you...

Imagine my shock when I opened the package and there was a BRAND NEW PSU with a very
simple note. "Thank you for choosing Corsair for your computing needs" ! I couldn't believe it.

So from that day on 4 yrs ago, I do my very best to give SERIOUS props to Corsair and they
are the only company I recommend for memory and PSU's. Even now, I just shake my head
thinking about what I did and how Corsair stepped up and covered my stupid mistake.

Oh by the way, HELLO ALL.

Wow after reading everbody response. I am glad on my new found purchase of Tx750 power supply. I am condfident I will get the same dedication and service aswell. Whew, glad Im safe!

I've used their power supplies in some lower to mid range systems I've built (recently) and they've been nothing but trouble free.

I have my 1200 Watt Thermaltake Toughpower in my system now which has been steadily rocking my rig for a while, however, if that ever gives me trouble... based on [H] reviews and testimonials here.. Corsair will be my only choice.

I run tons of their RAM in all machines, so why not power a power supply too :) I also had the 800D for a while but decided that was just too damn big (it WAS a pretty sweet case though) If they made the 800D around the size of the Coolermaster HAF X (except I wish they'd delete the pop open door on the front for drives), I'd get another one.

Corsair is a Awesome Comapny and has Aweomse Customer Service, i am running a Corsair Gs800 watt wit ha 870@ 4ghz and 470 sli on it, and have had not problems and, My h50 broke sent it in got it back in less in then 2 weeks. Corsair is a awesome company who knows how to take care of customer's

This is why they're my favorite PC component manufacturer and the only brand of PSU and memory I'll use and recommend. The quality of their gear is as good as their customer service.

just wish theyd make an SFX PSU, id buy that in a heartbeat!

everything i buy going forward will be corsair. ive turned alot of people onto the brand, with no other reason then customer service. my cousin recently built a rig, i got him to get a 650d, h60, some ram and an AX750. not only are the products quality, they are aesthetically pleasing most of the time, and the CS cant be beat.

i glad to read this comments, already have troubles with mi H50 and im exceptical to contact the CS, but now i contact them asap.

Corsair is simply the best customer service oriented company I've had the pleasure to work with.

I've only bought RAM from Corsair and never had to actually use their CS...but this just reassures me that I'm not making a mistake buying from them. I'm in the market for a new power supply and I think I know which brand I'm going to buy now.

I may have to take them up on this offer soon, so good to know I picked the right company for the psu this time

to share yet another positive experience with Corsair.. I bought a hx520 when it first came out. Well almost ran out of sata cables for the build so I emailed them asking where I could purchase more. Didn't hear back for about 5 days when I got a package with 3 more leads of 3 connectors each. They didn't even tell me they were sending them. Just used the address in my signature at the time & zipped them on over.

I also had bought a 2x2gb DDR2 800 kit for a build for someone else that had issues. Ended up swapping the ram from my server into guys build to get him out the door. Well I called Corsair & got the RMA setup. Well I ended up using the ram for another year before I got around to picking up another stick of ram to put in my server while I RMA'd that ram (ddr3 was out in full force by then so I didnt have alot of ddr2 come across the bench). well I emailed them with the year old RMA number & they just said to send in the ram anyway. a week later brand new kit on my doorstep.

I give them a top tier rating/props on their memory its the only company I buy memory from. I use Antec PSUs but after reading this thread I might give their PSUs a go now too.

Oh YEAH!

Well zippy US is just down the street from me...

But in all seriousness, corsair seems to have reps placed on every enthusiast site to get a feel for the market and what consumers want, but its more than just consumer research, they always end up backing up their products and reasoning to us. If someones corsair product goes haywire and they make a post here about it, its always cleaned up.

wow i'm really glad that I discovered this topic. very inspiring stories. they really make me feel confident about building my zambezi build in the summer that I guess my next psu/ram/ and case will be corsair as I love the looks of them. I always thought that it's a bit of a premium price for their products but after reading this I won't even think twice.

That sucks. I have no problems with my TX950 so I can't experience that awesome support!

Kelvin's helped me out when I had trouble with a rebate. +1 to Corsair's support team!

Pretty sure Antec and Corsair units are both made by Seasonic. The Corsair are typically cheaper to, at least in the UK.

This is why you choose an AX850 over the Seasonic 850 option. I heard Seasonics warranty center was garbage, and after reading this, Corsairs is amazing and they are basically the same PSU.

Glad I got Corsair Memory after reading this :)

I don't normally recommend corsair over other brands necessarily, because their units are good, but vary in price/performance in relation to other manufacturers depending on a users needs, but I may have to start pushing them up on my list.

I FULLY condone customer service from any company, I think it's a real crying shame that that seems to have been one of the first casualties of our modern ages price wars. Customer service doesn't matter to most people... until it does. When your machine is working fine what do you care? But when there's a problem nothing makes you regret your decisions more than going with crap customer service company.

So I'm going to seriously start giving some more weight to the already well known corsair brand. Hope they keep it up.

Good to hear. i love my HX850 PSU. Along with my Big Bang Xpower the power is rock solid.

My hx850 is great as well. But as to corsair service I'm not sure they can be beat. Look to the overclocking forums right now for a current thread where they're replacing components when an h70 went defective, even a nvidia 580 thats still working but there was a doubt as to if it might have been affected. This type of response appears to be the norm from corsair, and it really makes for a deciding vote when debating between corsair and other high quality parts.

They also have a pretty cool representative that browses these forums :)

Same here with my 520 in my last build. I also lost my PCI-e cables and needed some, and they sent them over right away. Combined with that PSU being super damn stable (measured real) when the PSU was loaded to about 350W (near optimal capacity), I now own a 850... :)

I once had a bad corsair PSU i bought second hand not knowing it was bad. Corsair let me RMA it and sent me a brand new one. It was a 650w PSU IIRC.

Glad I went with Corsair.
Bought another 4gb of RAM this week to top my T420 off at 8gb RAM (all Corsair), and am buying a Corsair 500w PSU to run my external "DIY ViDock" on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm happy to support a company that still knows customer service.

I had a high opinion of Corsair customer service until my Corsair memory recently went bad and I could not get them under any circumstances to send me a replacement before they had the bad memory in hand. Seeing as I didn't feel like going "5 business days plus travel time" without a functional computer, I just went ahead and bought some cheap highly rated G. Skill memory from Newegg and sent the Corsair memory off to RMA land once it arrived. When I receive my replacements, I'll be selling them to a buddy of mine and washing my hands of the matter.

I'm sure I'll catch flak for this post, but when I bought the Corsair kit originally, I paid a little more for it thinking "Corsair has great customer service." I never expected to actually need it, but that was still the influencing factor in my purchase decision. Now that I know they aren't going to do anything special for me, why would I bother considering them the next time I need to purchase memory?

On balance, I've had my Corsair TX650W PSU for well over 3 years now and still love it. Judging by the above, however, I hope that I never have cause to send it in for a replacement.

same thing happened to me, thats why i ALWAYS only buy corsair psu

I'll have to hold off judgement a little bit longer. On 5/9 I put in a RMA request to replace an H50 that leaked (hopefully no damage to the video card). I didn't get an RMA # until 5/16. I Fed Ex'd the damaged unit on 5/18. Didn't hear back until 5/27. Now get this, I was told I needed to send the damn fan back in order to process an RMA! They apparently need the fan to "put it in the system". This is where i'm going to hold off, maybe this support person is new or something, I don't know. He also did a bad job with copy and paste as he also put " Your new replacement went out on Dec. 30th". I wonder if I was to send the fan back if they would ask for the mounting bracket too.

edit: I did have a great experience with getting a bad PSU replaced a few years ago to be fair.

You will find that the "poor" customer service that you think have received from corsair is still far better than most other companies will provide.
