I'll give Google the benefit if the doubt here but, if what this guy is saying is true, that some freaky stuff. Seriously? Workers with a certain badge get all the goodies while other workers with different color badges getting treated like second class citizens? People being fired for video taping other "secret" employees? What the hell is going on in the Googleplex?

lol it's called being a subK. welcome to the real world. Be glad you weren't a subK at Motorola back in the day.

Thats not right. I hope someone bitches about it and they get in trouble. Wow. Simply wow. Google -1 in my book.

Did you hear about all that cool crap at google? Makes me WANT to work there now. :D

Uh, i'ts called "contractor". This is 100% standard behavior in the tech industry. Just see Intel's "blue badge" vs. "green badge". This is nothing strange at all. I bet NONE of the contractors are "supposed" to have access to all the perks. I know, as a green-badge at Intel, I wasn't supposed to have any of the perks - yet I got many of them anyway.

If any of this is true then that pretty much makes what Alex Jones says about google true. Just a front for an authoritarian way of life and future one world government.

A huge multibillion dollar company treats its lowest-tier employees as a disposable untouchable underclass? I'm shocked, really.

I mean it. Any moment now--bam, heart attack. Yep.

That's messed up that the writer was terminated like that. Some bullshit in my view about that but thats they way business is. They are not government, they classify their employees however they want. I wonder though if they are violating some laws with that? Since Im sure that they get government subs would they be violating something?

I guess that's why your nick is syndicate?

And they complain about Comunism? This is Laborism at its best. This is exactly what the government want for us.

How dare they not give low skilled minimum wage contractors free food and limo rides. Barbaric!

Google just got minus 5 points in my book, that is seriously fucked up there. I mean, I understand that they have different classes of workers entitled to different benefits, but that they don't want ANYBODY to know about it? And that he got fired over it?

I become less and less happy with google with each passing day...

I'm also not surprised at many of the responses of the drones here. then you'll hear the measly disgusting maggots complain and bitch when is their turn.

No ski trips and Disney vacations? This is an atrocity!!!!

You don't get it do you? I guess you either need common sense. A sense of self respect. The knowledge of what loosing your freedom means or a serious level of social studies and a heart to care about it.
That video and the guy claims go to prove that society hasn't changed in anything since the industrial revolution. And I'm using industrial revolution as a reference to what he mentions on his video. It's the same crap with another cover.

QFT. The issue isn't that the yellow badges exist, the issue is the guy got fired for talking/filming them.

Looks normal to me. Colored badges for full time, part time, contractors, and guests...

I'd go work as a yellow badge just to be able to put "worked at Google" on my resume.

Oh in that case,... duh. It's still a mega corporation. I didn't watch the whole video, he complains about not having these plush perks so that kinda makes me tune out.

lol if life this is a shock to anyone, you need look no further than your government or military for similar examples... nothing to see here imo. Plus, the narrator of this video is fucking scary, and someone better keep an eye on him lest he appear at google or somewhere else with a machine gun.

That's the point. If everyone did something about it. Even if it was opening their mouth and saying no. The story would be different. But, hey. Even the workers at the site don't care.

Yeah, I'm not sure what this guy was expecting, and I'm really confused he didn't foresee Google being upset with what he did.

Lemme guess you work at google? Or want to.
that's not the point. the point is that.

1.-Google and those who you exemplify are just as hypocrite.
2.-Human nature continues to be crap. Technology doesn't change anything essentially.

Only two things are weird to me about this situation

#1 The instructions on the yellow badge to call an number if approached (If that’s true)

#2 This guys obsession with what other people’s chosen jobs are. It’s not as if Google has these people in internment camps.

These are just contracted peons. Big friggen deal. The guy that did this video obviously doesn't know how secure contracting works.

This is completely normal in every business, even government. Some employees get better benefits than others. It's really not a story...

This reminds me very much of the movie Antitrust (2001). The type of behavior these top companies undertake to remain number one, and what *actually* goes on inside.

Wait. SO this guy is surprised he lost his job?
Lets see...
- He works on one of the most secure business campuses in the world.
- For one of the most security-minded businesses in the world. (well, as a sub Ker)
- With video cameras, which inherently represent security risks, doing a job for which I guarantee he signed multiple forms prohibiting this kind of activity.
- He used company material for personal purposes during work hours.
- To interview employees about confidential work that has all kinds of issues around it, including on-going litigation. Employees whose work is sensitive enough that they don't get anything that can allow for material to leave their building (mentioned backpacks, phones and flashdrives)
- And then apparently lied about NOT having footage while mocking the person confronting him about his actions.

This guy's a moron, and if anyone is surprise, shocked or appalled about Google's response, then they have no idea what corporate america is about...

(sorry, no edit)
And after this video, this guy's getting sued. GUARANTEED.

Actually, I have zero affiliations with google, and never have, and never will have the desire to work for them. Not sure how you came to that conclusion or it's relevance.

My point was that there are"ranks" in every walk of life, and whether it's as blatant as different color badges, or if it's much less obvious of where you are on the corporate ladder, these types of rankings exist in all walks of life, from corporate america, government, military, and yes, even school. Oh wait, you never heard of upperclassman housing on campus where seniors can live in nicer apartments, while freshman live small concrete squares?

People who have issue with human nature are hypocritical by definition. Think about that one.

Yep, nothing new. Got the same system with color of badge at Microsoft and Cisco. Probably loads of other tech companies in Silicon Valley, too.
