Xbox network hacked!!!

well it looks like it was hacked by the same people who hacked the psn network. no link yet, but trust me it is true. Also, my sources are telling me that they broke into the psn network in may 2010.
 
I'm signed in right now....

EDIT: besides, on no place on this planet, has reached the month of May, yet....
 
I googled "Xbox network hacked" and the second result was this forum post. I don't see any credible evidence.

may last year!!! they didnt want to shut it down till they found out how it was.

by this time tomorrow there will be a patch for the xbox dashboard.

thank you for believing me. i am not making any of this up (as hard as it is to believe). My source is a very high ranking person. the only reason xbox network hasnt been shut down is because they are promising a patch with in 48 hours (as of yesterday).
 
My sons signed into live fine right now.

That friends thing is so perfect for this thread.
 
how does this get misinterpreted as "hacking", besides poor journalism?

"phishing" messages in one game is a galaxy away from PSN leaking private user data out the back door.

yellow journalism. I think that is the appropriate phrasing :p Of course, we could be talking about something else entirely different, however, after PSN going down, some people are willing to assume anything and blow it out of poportions.


That and.... no shit, MS is gonna be on alert after their main competitor is taken out.
