11.4 Extended Desktop - No confirmation, settings roll back

I just updated to 11.4 today and usually when I want to turn on extended desktop on my HDTV (via HDMI) I just enable it in the CCC. So I did this as usual, but I don't remember seeing a prompt to confirm. The setting stayed, but now I want to disable the extended desktop on the TV, so I go to disable it, the extended desktop turns off, no prompt to confirm, 15 seconds later the extended desktop turns back on. I tried this time after time, no prompt and I can't turn it off. I uninstalled 11.4 and reinstalled it, which did nothing.

Tried to disable the desktop under Common Display Tasks and it did disable the TV, but again 15 seconds later the TV turned back on. No prompt for me to click yes or anything. Seems like a pretty big bug. I guess my options are either unplug the HDMI from my video card or roll back drivers.

Anyone else have this issue?

what he said above.. looks like the prompt is probably showing up on the tv instead of your other display. my suggestion would be to make sure that is set as the primary display even when in extended mode. but i prefer using windows to control the displays when only doing extended mode. the driver feature is nice but windows controls just seem to be better. plus theres less of this stuff happening.

Wow that's so much easier. I never knew about that hotkey. I do have my computer lcd set as the main display. It's weird though when using the hotkey to turn off extended mode instead of selecting computer only, I selected projector only and that turns off the TV. It seems to think my TV is my main monitor even though it is not set that way. Thanks for the tips!
