Quick question: if I buy a retail copy of Civ 5, will I be able to just enter the key into Steam and never touch the disk? Being a Steamworks-integrated game, I assume it's true, but can anyone confirm?

Thanks.

You know I never even thought of doing this. So any game thats available on steam I can just install if I have the required cd key?

No, not any game.

Bulletstorm, for example, can be bought at D2D, at Steam, or at the store. But you can't enter the activation code at Steam.

No, not any game available on Steam. It has to be a SteamWorks title. For example, AssCreedBro is available on Steam, but you can NOT buy it elsewhere and try to enter your key on Steam. On the other hand, a game like say Homefront is a SteamWorks title, you can buy it anywhere and then put the key in Steam. Check here for a list of SteamWorks titles.
