Sounds like a new way to "improve" Chat Roulette. And by improve, I mean make more disturbing.

I love how it tracks talk time. Quantitative proof to take away from meetings for those people who talk to much and drag on meetings.
 
I can't stand it when videos showing off new tech have such bad audio recording that you can't even understand the people talking.

It's so bad I doubt it's even the built in mac mic.
 
Why would I want the video to blur everything around the person talking?

Am I that much of a baby that they have to tell me where to look by literally blurring my fucking vision?!

It's actually a common technique. Next time you watch the news look at the surroundings of the reporters. Many times they are slightly out of focus to put emphasis on the person talking. It's subtle enough that it's not distracting, but it's definitely there pretty often.
 
In time as the technology improves the sky is the limit with this stuff. Can't wait for the Windows SDK, it'll be a blast playing with this stuff.
 
I would have waited till it was out of beta stages before making the video but that is just me...
