Any LCD somone's willing to give away, I dont think the op would want :D (i.e. I'm hanging on to one that only powers on like 60% of the time, so likely a freebie is WORSE than that lol)

Update:

Free to a good home:
-PC Power Cables
-Phone Cables
-Original Driver Disc for Moto Q
-10/100 PCMCIA Netgear Networking card.
-CF 56k Modem (this thing cost me an arm and a leg brand new, lightly used, works perfectly)
-512mb DDR2 Asus (laptop)
-512mb DDR2 Crucial (Laptop)
CF->PCMCIA Adapter (use PCMCIA cards in a CF slot)

Looking For:
-HD-DVD movies (Comedy or Fantasy, no horror)
-SATA data cables
-Molex -> Sata power adapters
-"Roll up" earphone cases --- the round kind that you open, place the earbuds in, then spin to gather the cable inside. Dont need the earphones, just the cases.

I've got the restore discs for an Acer Aspire 5100-3959; sold the lappy, buyer didn't want the discs. Note that these were made manually on first power-on from 7 blank CDs(!). They are NOT illegal copies.

Also archived copies of various Linux distros, for those of you who don't want to be bothered with burning a disc. Current selection is as follows:
- Ubuntu 7.04 [Alternate Install Version]
- Ubuntu 7.04 [Server Version - no GUI!]
- Ubuntu 8.04
- DSL 4.x
- DSL-N 4.x
- Trinity Rescue Kit (Linux for getting files off of a borked Windows install.)
- Any *available* version of Puppy Linux -- if I don't have it, I'll (try to) find it. Older versions are difficult to find, though!

Per thread rules, I'll only charge for shipping -- USPS First Class in a 6x9 bubble mailer. Note that I'm all out of MiniCDs unless you want to buy enough copies of DSL(-N) or a smaller Puppy to justify me buying them.

If anyone has any nice 120mm fans that they're willing to give away, I'd really appreciate it. Something with good cooling speeds.

Anyone got the 200mm fan that comes out of the HAF cases? LED color doesn't matter!

I have a few misc cables laying around and I'll add them when I get to the house and check what I have.

If anyone has a USB Wireless adapter, I'd be uber happy. Just moved to a new apartment and my trial for PDANET is up on my phone. Haven't decided what ISP to go with. Was all set for AT&T until I seen the [H] article on them capping the limit.

So an old wireless g adapter or something would be awesome until I get internet set up. I'm open for trades for stuff. I've got old 1.3MP webcam and some 120mm fans I'd part with in exchange.

I could use a PCI-E video card for a back-up card

prefer an ATI based one so I dont have to switch out drivers & such ... can be as low end as possible long as I can check e-mail etc when my main vid card is down

thanks

also have OEM one too from a athlon x2

oooohhh, too late, I got a great deal on a CM Hyper 212+, haha yes it went on a sempron 140, but I see heavy OCs and core unlocking in the near future but thanks again.

I need a couple things.

2. Older Flash drives
3. Sleaving and Heatshrink tubing. I feel like doing a Mod. :)

2. Ide Cables

4. Older Motherboards.

Finishing all my DVD/CD-based PC games. First up is No One Lives Forever 2: A spy in H.A.R.M.'S Way and F.E.A.R.

It comes with no jewel case, but it's in a CD sleeve. Ships from Japan. Disks have no scratches as they haven't been played since I bought them new years ago...

Hay guys, I got some stuff to give away...

I/O Magic 2.2GB "GIGA BANK" Mass Storage Drive. It's actually a CompactFlash-sized hard drive with a USB connector! Has some major overheating problems, preventing me from formatting it properly. Comes with a 40mm heatsink attached via 3 zip-ties; no thermal paste was applied, though. Also comes with original disks (two MiniCDs containing Win98SE drivers and some sort of backup software) as well as a quick start type guide.

Jury-Rigged Video Card. Card has model #BFGR84512GSE. It's an nVIDIA GeForce 8400GS card of some sort... got it for free from a friend of my father's. Card may or may not actually still function, as the problem was that the fan died. I liberally cobbled a new HSF onto it and made a bit of a mess. Comes inside an antistatic bag and a cardboard box.

Software Games. I'll ship each of these in a 6"x9" bubble mailer... you get the CD in a paper sleeve or jewelcase -- and nothing else. Manuals and such are yours to find elsewhere. You are warned that these are all really old.
-a- ClueFinders Mystery Mansion Arcade, v1.1 [Win/Mac]
-b- Safecracker [Win95/98, may work in XP using Compatibility Mode]
-c- ORBITS 3.0 Voyage Through The Solar System [DOS 2 or newer, may need DOSBox]
-d- Interplay / Cinematic Multimedia CD Sampler Volume One (Demos of SimCity, Battle Chess, Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, Castles II: Siege & Conquest, Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space, The Lord of the Rings, and Mario Teaches Typing) [DOS 5 or newer, may need DOSBox]
-e- 3-D Ultra MiniGolf [Win3.1/Win95, may need VMWare + relevant OS]

Other Software. Again, you get these in a 6"x9" bubble mailer... no documentation other than what's in the jewelcase or on the paper sleeve.
-a- Tubbs TrailNet (snowshoe trails... how do I get this stuff?!) [Win/Mac]
-b- Kid Fonts and Icons [Win3.1+ / Mac Sys7]
-c- Berkeley Systems Screen Savers (includes a quick ref guide!) [Win3.1 or similar -- doesn't actually say, but the pix in the quick ref guide look a *lot* like Win3.1...]
-d- ArcSoft Funhouse (some sort of image manip software...?) [Win98/2k/Me/XP or Mac8.6/9/X]
-e- Art Explosion Greeting Card Factory Express. [Probably Windows 2k/XP, doesn't say. Also may need registration.]
-f- Art Explosion Seasons, Events, & Holidays 15k Clipart CD [Windows is all it sez. Also may need registration.]
-g- StudyWorks! Science [Win3.1/95/98]
-h- StudyWorks! Mathematics Deluxe [Win3.1/95/98]
-i- Linksys Driver CD for WPC54GS Cardbus 802.11b/g ver.1.0 Adapter [WinXP, may work w/ earlier, no idea about Macs.]

As always, if someone wants a Linux CD, LMK. (Search thread for a previous post of mine for details.)

Thanks, all.

If anyone has some UV cathodes or other UV case lighting they don't want, I'll gladly pay shipping. I have some things to give to the thread as well. LGA775 3.0GHz Pentium 4, IDE hard drives from 10-40GB, other random pieces/parts.

Looking for a 3.5" Bay - Black - 3 fan Controller. If it has 4 it's OK, just controlling 3.

I have a box of
"400" Red 18" SATA data Cables.

Thanks,

FFL

*DING DING* You've Unlocked an Achievement!

...what it is, I'm not entirely sure though... ;)

The strange thing is that every PATA HD I ever bought came with an IDE cable, but the last 10 SATA drives have not had SATA cables...

That's a few cables, alright

[EDIT: I have no patience whatsoever and decided to rig what I needed... ignore me plz.]

Add Freedom Fighters and Company of Heros (Non-Steam) to the list.

Getting ready to install and beat Spider-Man: Friend or Foe... I've had a busy week.

oh wow, not seen ADBs for ages... I *might* have an old IBM-compatible ADB...

I threw out 2 of them last year. :( One of them was new. That was before I knew this thread existed. From now on I'll post things here first.

you pay shipping of course. I'm working on moving so I don't have an exact list right now unfortunately.

I also have a CoolerMaster V8, paid $40 for this, but I need it out. Shipping will be $10-15 on this...the AM3 is perfect but the LGA775 needs some work as it has a screw stuck in it (pretty bad), it can be fixed though I'm sure, I just don't need it since I had an AM3 on it.
