I need some cars:
- A Lupo so I complete the last series on Professional mode
- A car that I can use to beat the Historic Race Car challenge
- A car I can use to compete against newer race cars in the Gran Turismo All Stars and Like The Wind event

The race cars are so expensive and I don't want to keep doing the same races over and over again to get the credits. The pre-1979 race cars are pretty rare. I'm not sure the Lupo actually exists.

:EDIT: I no longer need the Lupo. Somebody sent me one. Why do you win a Lupo for the prize of using a Lupo? Nobody wants TWO Lupo's. Lame.

Trade restrictions make it hard to help. Cant trade anything over 1m cr.

Like the wind, you just need a car that runs +220-240mph. Any LMP racer should do it.
Most of those are in the +4m cr range but you can win it using cars like:
Speed 12 - 260,000cr in UDC
Corvette ZR1 + race mod - ~600,000cr (one of the best bang-for-the-buck cars, use for american championship aswell)
Mazda Furia - prize car NR-A roadster cup Bspec
CLK GTR race car - price car AMG academy, intermediate Gold
Some say the Zonda R(prize car) or the Veyron(prize car), but its hit and miss. Few also win using the tuned Viper ACR.


When you win "like the wind" in Bspec, you get the Toyota 7 that you can use for the historic cup, though its one of the hardest matchups since the 2J is a real fight, but its one of those "last lap" wins for most people when they have a good tune.

When you win like the wind in Aspec you get the minolta and thats one of the fastest cars in the game.

Assuming I get 4m + credits, which car would be the best purcahse for these events (preferable a premium model)? Not real sure what you mean by LMP racer.

I tried the Veyron and it was a disaster. It seemed possible to win for somebody with extreme skill, but not for me.

I'll probably have to try the Mazda Furia. I just started B-spec. I will probably have 4m credits by then though, so let me know about the LMP racer.

LMP is "Le Mans Prototype"
Cars like the Audi R10, Mazda 787b, the 908fap etc.
Purpose built race cars, usually able to do 250mph or more.
Basically cars that look like below


Furia will do it, so will the Corvette ZR1 RM fully tuned.

I have had great success with the mazda Furia, especially in Bspec. Just make sure your drivers are around the level of the race level, less chance of them screwing up royally and wrecking the car

best part about that, the Furia is easily obtainable
