Hello, I've just got my new U2311H monitor earlier today, and my first impressions are that the monitor is absolutely exquisite.
However, after a couple of minutes I noticed a line running down the center of my screen, top to bottom.

It's almost like the entire line of pixels is missing or something like that, pretty hard to describe.

I've tried using a VGA and a DVI cable and it's still the same.. I'd try to get a pic of it but I haven't got my camera atm and my iphones crappy camera can't really pick it up.

What do you guys reckon? Faulty panel?

Definitely sounds like it. Vertical lines of pixels being dead/stuck is a pretty common problem, as far as problems go. Call Dell and get the ball rolling on an RMA.

Got it replaced and the new monitor doesn't seem to have any flaws atm at least :p

Absolutely gorgeous display coming from a TN panel monitor.. I knew it would look better, but this is just outrageous.

How did you get it replaced and set-up in less than 24 hours?
U2311H is IPS not TN.

That's a quick replacement, I wish dell gave me CS like that. Maybe he swapped it out in-store?

Swapped it out in-store. :)

They took it in to check it out and rang me up 1 hour later asking me to pick up a new one.
And yea icor1031, I know it's not a TN panel, I'm saying that I'm coming from a TN panel, Samsung 2443bw.
