Yeah... obviously the 5870 is normally $399.99 these days. So this must be a deal right?

Bought that SSD last week from Newegg for 176 after "1" MIR. I am installing everything on it as I type. Its my first SSD and WOW the speed.

I just got 2 of those 120GB Vertex 2 drives on Monday! They were on Shell Shocker at $207 each with a $30 rebate that only works on one drive. So, my total is $414-30=$384. This would be $230+205-$20=$415. Even if they're ordered separately for $25 code on each, it's not cheaper than what I got on Monday.

these drives running dual with raid 0 would be faster than the new Vertex 3 drives. I'm happy with that idea. :)

$400 may not be a deal, but $250 for a card thats faster than the 6870 with twice the ram and that's only $30 more than the cheapest 6870, I think that's a hell of a deal..Thinking about 2 for my SB.

Cheapest on NE maybe. There's another stickied thread with a $180 6870. $70 is a lot for a card that's only faster than the 6870 in some instances. You should also factor in that the 5870 does not scale as well as the 6000 series cards when running in Crossfire.

Except... you can get a 6870 from tigerdirect for 170 after $20 MIR.

Edit: beaten by several hours, oh well, He's right.

It's more expensive than usual because it's the Eyefinity6 edition, with 6 mini-DP ports.
