There are multiple discussions going on all over this forum regarding issues resuming from S3 sleep.

I would like to hear from anyone that is not having this issue and why.

If you have a P8P67 build and are not having issues resuming from S3 sleep, please post what you have, or have not, done to achieve success.

Thanks!

I was able to get sleep to work just fine and am currently using it, but unfortuantely Internal PLL Overvoltage needs to be disabled. Apparently it is an Intel issue and there is no word on when/if it will be fixed. More info:

To get Sleep to work, I had to set A.I. Tweaker->Internal PLL Overvoltage = Disabled

This limits me to 4.6Ghz for my overclock, but honestly I don't need any more.

Also, SSDs seem to be a kiss of death right now for getting sleep to work.

All i did was disable c3/c6 reporting and i have had no issues. Also, I must disagree that SSDs are the 'kiss of death' when it comes to sleep mode.

I have 3 in my system, one being the OS drive, and have not had any issues having my PC go into or come out of sleep.

I have no sleep issues. I press the power button to go into hybernation. I can also let the computer sleep and hybernate and bring it back out by pressing the power button. WHS is able to wake the computer up to do daily backup and the computer goes back to hybernate when done. I have the PLL overvoltage disabled. Running at 4.6 on the 1305 bios. I had no problems with 1253 bios either.

What SSD's do you have? I'm suspicious it might be my Crucial C300.
Are you OC'ing?

Let me correct myself in the fact that it seems to be Crucial SSDs that are having issues when coming out of sleep.

I have C3/C6 Reporting Enabled and sleep works fine for me.

I have 2 x Crucial C300s. A 128GB which I am using as the OS drive and a 64GB I am using as a VM drive. Both have the 0006 FW on them. No issues.

S3 Sleep works fine here, here are the settings I'm currently using:

Ai Overclock Tuner: Manual
BCLK/PEG Frequency: 100
Auto Save OC BCLK/PEG Frequency in ME: Disabled
Turbo Ratio: 45 (By All Cores)

Internal PLL Overvoltage: Disabled
Memory Frequency: Auto
DRAM Timings: Auto

Under CPU Power Management:
CPU Ratio: Auto
SpeedStep: Enabled
Turbo Mode: Enabled
Long Duration Power Limit: Auto
Long Duration Maintained: Auto
Short Duration Power Limit: Auto
Additional Turbo Voltage: 0.108
Primary Plane Current Limit: Auto

Offset Mode Sign: +
CPU Offset Voltage: 0.010

DRAM Voltage: Auto
VCCIO Voltage: Auto
PCH Voltage: 1.055V (default: 1.05V)
Load-line Calibration: Disabled
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled

And yes I have an SSD as my OS drive.

Motherboard: P8P67-M Pro

I have the p8p67 Pro and yes it does freeze up when coming back from an idle/sleep state, but usually only lasts 30secs and its working fine.

Sleep works fine here on 1253 with win7 x64 on a x25m ssd.

Best thing I did to get the system stable was to cut the over clock from 4.8 to 4.0,
And run the memory at 1333 instead of 1600, everything else is pretty much auto in the bios.

I'm sure I could up those some but I need a 100% stable system and decided to leave it as is.

Nope, not OCing. Using a Crucial c300 128GB (FW 0006) for my OS drive and a Crucial c300 64GB (FW 0006) for a VM drive.

Disabled C3/C6 reporting and using XMP profile setting for memory. I have 4 x 4GB of Corsair Vengeance installed.
