Ok need opinions on what i should get, between these two drives

1) Western Digital WD20EARS Caviar Green 2TB SATA2 3GBPS 64MB Cache 3.5IN Hard Drive OEM

2) Seagate ST2000DL003 Barracuda Green 2TB SATA3 6GB/S 64MB Cache 3.5IN 5900RPM 12MS Hard Drive OEM

I plan on putting this drive into an external USB2 case.
The drive will be formatted to Fat32 using this program Link
The drive will then be connected to a media player ( PS3, WD live, TV's built in players, etc..)

Most important thing to me is: which drive will be best suited to operating in FAT32 as a ext USB drive ( reliability compatibility )?
I believe these are both 4k Advanced Format drives.
Other then following manufacturer instructions (jumper pin, utility etc..) i have no idea if i need to do anything else before i give it a FAT32 format using that utility.

On paper the Seagate looks better spec wise, however i do know that Seagate's rep was recently tarnished due to their firmware fiasco.
Personally i don't think i need the higher performance given USB2 connectivity ruins any such performance gains.
Therefore in terms of secondary importance heat and noise is probably more important then any performance differences.

I did a little reading on this new Seagate 4K Advanced format drive.
Supposidly unlike the WD it does not require use of a utility or jumpering in order to make use of the drive, which does peak my interest, as to how they managed to do this
Might be a reason to give it a try, although i am still on the fence as to which drive i should choose for this application.
I am much more familiar with buying 7200 rpm black drives for most of my builds, since i dont usually make ext USB drives.
And these black drives that i mostly use have not gone advanced format yet.

4k is a brand new format. I am unsure as to it's issues with FAT32. I would go with a NON-4k drive of the same capacity if you are intent on sticking with FAT32. NTFS partitions created under Vista or 7 will auto-align to 4k drives but I don't know what will happen with FAT32.

Unfortunately i am stuck having to format this external drive to FAT32, since that is the only way for various media players and consoles to read its contents, since most will not read NTFS partitions.

I too have no idea what will happen when i format these drives to FAT32, but im willing to try it out and learn something new.
Wonder if there is anyone else here who has any experience with FAT32 on a 4K drive?

I am also unaware of any "green" low power high capacity 2TB drive that are not advanced format nowadays, as the two drives i listed are pretty much the main market leaders/contenders in this category.

I have also decided to put this drive in a USB3 case.
Although the drive will primarily run at USB2 Since the media devices i listed are only USB2.
