Just starting to build my ZFS box. Got a SASUC8I second hand.

Initially when I boot/tested it, it was displaying the card bios fine. I went into it once, don't know what I did, but I don't think I did anything wrong :)

Went to hook drives up to it today and they wern't recognised, also I had no card messages in bios. I notice there's a YELLOW led and a green LED on the back. According to the sparse information on the web that means a fault condition?

So as I look at back of case - bottom led is yellow, top led is green
no bios recognition

dead card?

Does it get recognized by the operating system? It could be that your BIOS does not initialize the card (int 19 capture) but then it should still work once booted to an OS.

I will try,I'm not confident.. I'm more concerned about the yellow fault light..

How were you cooling the card? Also does your motherboard have the INT19 capture setting? If so, what is it for the slot with your card?
