Newegg: 15% OFF Any Desktop Memory - Exp. 2/13

Damnit! I just bought that memory a week ago. Do they do retroactive on this stuff?

*edit* Got them to refund me $15. Couldn't get the 15% though but it would only be a few bucks anyways.

Boy that makes me really considering snagging 12GB of that Vengeance memory.....

The PNY 2x4gb 1333 kit would be 109 after rebates for two sets. Anyone have experience with this in the new Asus p67 boards?

Nice, thanks a lot for this. Took the plunge and upgraded my 6 to 12 and saved 12 bucks. . . good times!

At these prices 16GB is super cheap but I have no need for that amount of memory.

Go back to the home page and look at the [H]. I am thinking about buying that Corsair kit for my WHS V1 build knowing full well that it won't even be able to address half of it. I just don't think memory will be this cheap going into summer.

I go [H] but 16GB, come on. I only game and surf the Internet. It's a small amount of money to spend but I'm thinking about putting that extra cash towards a second 6950. Then buy two more Dell U2410s for eyefinity. I go extreme when necessary. Buying now is a good investment though.

In for 16GB of DDR3 @ 1600 for my P67 build at $193 shipped... weeeeeeeeeee!! I almost pulled the trigger on the 16GB of Corsair @ Fry's for 220+tax-20rebate.. glad I waited!

Moder bitch... 16gb of G.Skill 1333 for 132.58 shipped.. Talk about a killer fucking deal..

(and that was 2 of these sets)

Grabbed the Corsair 8GB 1333 kit before it sold out again. Not quite sure what I will do with it, but the price AR was too good to pass up. I suppose I could down clock it with my Q6600...but I might as well just buy some sandy bridge parts.

Argh, really tempting to upgrade the ESXi machine from 12GB to 16GB..

Hm, I think I will. Realistically, I can sell the 2x2GB sticks it'd be replacing for $30-35, so I'd only be out ~$20 when all is said and done.

EDIT: Damnit, looks like you just got the last kit for now.. I clicked on Add to Cart, and now it shows out of stock.

Ah, that route is much [H]arder. Redemption granted.

I just had to buy another 8 GB of this Corsair Vengeance 1600. This stuff was $140 when I bought it with my other Sandy Bridge parts a couple weeks ago, but today they had it marked down to $114. With the 15% off it brought it down under $100. Then, while it's sitting in my cart (I was contemplating whether I really needed 16 GB), they take another $10 off. So, now's it's under $90. I folded :( Order complete.

I wish Corsair would have updated the regular Dominator ram line. I like the design of the Dominators, but the Vengeance seems like newer ram chips which have faster timings and lower voltage.

You also have some Canadians camping out on the newegg.ca page of this (assuming stock is shared), as this is the only 8gig kit that has a nice MIR AND free shipping for us

Thanks, I ordered memory yesterday and contacted customer service today for my $16.49 to be credited. :)

Wow ram has been on sale so much this month hopefully it gets even cheaper for when I decide to build my new rig.

Grabbed another 8gb of the G.Skill stuff. Don't need 16gb now, but the price was right.

I recall that DDR2 hit these <$10/gig prices awhile back, but then the prices went back up to $15-20/gig. I'd hate to want to upgrade to 16gb in another year or two, and have the prices higher or for my model RAM to be discontinued (since they're really pushing the new Ripjaws X, which don't look like they will clear my San Ace fan on my heatsink, which my regular Ripjaws do)

I bit on 8GB of Vengeance, not I just need to buy the rest of the parts for my new rig; I'm only piecing it together off deals...really need to find a deal on a PSU and mobo/2600K...

i bought 3 days before this deal so i messaged newegg support and they were kind enough to give me 15 dollars of store credit

Good looking out. Going to have to sit on these until a 1155 mount comes out for the dtek fuzion v1.

First Corsair I've ever bought. I sold out.

So I have a dilmena, maybe you guys can help me out. I purchased this G.SKILL Ripjaws 1600 ram a week ago for $100. I got the 1600 series before I got a 2500K which I believe doesn't really care if the ram is 1333 or 1600 so my question is what should I do? Should I just use what I bought or maybe try to pick up another 8GB of the cheap 1333 ram? Or maybe sell the ram I purchased above and buy 8GB's of the cheap 1333 ram that have been posted and just use that instead? Decisions, decisions...

You got good ram. Big performance from 1066 to 1333, some from 1333 to 1600, not as much after. 1600 is nice. Maybe see if newegg will refund you 15%.

Seems ram is ram nowadays. Or at least, we're not at all bottlenecked by memory anymore really. Or because we're limited in vdimm, the playing field is leveled more. No more hunting for d9gmh. Kind of makes me feel like I'm not doing enough research (and I'm not, but... :p)
