I'm looking to swap my CM Elite 335 and the 912 seems to fit most of my requirements.

Good cable management
good air flow
modular drive cages
looks decent
$60-$70 range

The only thing lacking is a black interior, but that isn't a deal breaker. Sucks CM doesn't sell the Plus version in the US.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Having built both an Antec 300 and the HAF 912, I'd pick the HAF 912. It's a good case for less than $60. Cable management is probably one of it's best perks IMHO. Downside is that it lacks any good fans. Antec 300 is a nightmare to for cable management without modification. HAF 912 just works out of the box.

Not worth the $70 shipped price. Its interior is equally as cramped rear to front as all of the other Antec gaming cases up to the Nine Hundred Two. The fixed, nonremovable hard drive cage bracket gets completely in the way of the front-mounted internal SATA ports on many motherboards, requiring the user to completely dismount the motherboard just to even connect an internal SATA device. What's more, some straight SATA plugs might not even fit that tiny space between the drive bracket and the port at all. And the cramped dimensions restrict the length of installable graphics cards to less than 10 inches (less than 8 inches if the drive bays are occupied by multiple hard drives). Plus, the cable management features of most of the Antec gaming cases borders on the most rudimentary.

The HAF 912 is a decent case for that price. not a case I would recommend to someone but if that is your budget then why not?

Indeed, I ended up cutting holes into mine to make the wiring not look so incredibly messy. The 912 takes the work out of it, and that's pretty much worth it to me..

That Antec 100 looks like the 300 with the inside and back painted black, and a few extra holes punched in it for wiring. I'd cut a hole in the side like I did my 300 and put a window in it too lol. Also, am I the only person who gets annoyed at new cases being introduced that don't include USB 3.0 on the front??

Bingo. It is still far outclassed by many other cases in the same price range, and almost none of the major flaws of the 300 are addressed in its design.

I love my Antec 300. Plenty of air flow with plenty of available fans. Ive got a fan stuck in every place you can mount one and I have very good temps even with a very high overclock. My 5870 stays under 60 and my 555 stays under 40.

I didnt have a big problem with cable management but I admit Im not very good at that. There is plenty of space on the other side panel that I was able to pull all my spare cables into that compartment and tie them off so that theyre hid.

There's plenty of room inside. My 5870 did fit but you have to have a spare hard drive bay or the SATA and power cords wont clear.

The HAF 912 looks great, much better than the Antec.

I suppose if I were building one all over again, Id take the 912 simply for the looks cause from the looks of them, they both have about the same inards and Ive had no problem building and upgrading in my trusty but boring looking 300.

I decided on the Lian Li PC-K58W because of the 20% Newegg code, it came out to $65.98, about $5 more than the HAF 912.

Thanks everybody for the help and suggestions.

The HAF 912 also has a removable/rotatable hard drive cage. This means you have room for large graphics cards, or can rotate them like Antec 300. Its not painted in the interior though.

I have the cooler master centurion 590 and am happy as a clam with it. Wish it had a reset button, but other than that I dig it. I did put 4 more fans in it, there is a coolermaster fan pack for I bought with it for like 12 bux.

Whats wrong with the Antec 300? I own two of them and they are great

It's a mess to wire, imho. I've built an antec 300, 900, and haf 912. Haf 912 owns them in the wiring department. It lacks fans but then again, that shouldn't matter. You get to have the options of adding your own fans. Oh yeah, fans in the antec cases are all molex instead of 3pin to molex. 3pin is much easier to power off the motherboard than try to route wires to plug into a molex. Daisy chaining them sucks.
