Looks like the B&M BB's are making shelf space. They've got the Corsair A70's and A50's on clearance. The pricing doesn't appear to be available through the online store, so YMMV as far as local stores/in-stock in concerned.

This is totally off-topic: Didn't Curt Cobain come up with the Def Leppard quote in your sig? I thought he wrote it in the last line of his suicide note. :confused:

And I might go and pick up one of these. I have a Hyper212+, I don't think it will make an earth-shattering difference, and IDK if it will fit on my Gigabyte P55 UD2. A googling I go...

EDIT: Are the heatspreaders on Corsair Dominator RAM taller than G. Skill Ripjaws?

EDIT2: Thanks for the info guys :). I'm going to check out those artists, being a youngster, I've never heard either Neil Yound or Def Leppard.

It's a lyric from a Def Leppard song that predates Kurt Cobain. Also, the lyric is actually from an earlier song by Neil Young. (yay google)

great coolers for the price. i just paid 49 with 10 rebate last week =(. just watch if you have ram with tall heat sinks the fan gets in the way.

edit. baah i am dumb i posted on both threads and didn't realize it.
 
Yep , each best buy will have variable pricing on the clearance product. Still a good deal. Was thinking of grabbing it but my push/pull h50 is good enough for me.
 
Just grabbed 2x A70 at the BB located at I-10/Bunker Hill, in Houston, TX.

Two more were left on the shelf right before closing time. The sticker shows "Clearance, $34.99", but they rang up at $26.99 during checkout.
 
Just got 1 at Mission Valley, San Diego. 1 left at that store. I wonder how good these stock fans are, gonna try to some scythe s-flex fans.

I called into the BB in Santa Maria, CA . No stock, I asked if he could ship to store; said yes with a price match of 26.99 + tax total was sub $30

If you ask one of the people working in computers nicely if they can check an item to see if it's in stock and if not have them make a ship to store order. Did it and for those in The Bay Area only San Carlos had it for $24.99, everywhere else is $26.99

DOH I was about to be pissed as I thought this was the H70 that I just paid $100 for :)

Yes it will. None of the bestbuy near me had it and I had them order one for pick up in store and they did it without an issue. The sales might say it won't go through because it says "deleted" for the status however ask him to try as it should work.
 
Success at the Anaheim, Ca store.

I checked the website and looked at local stores. All only had shipping except for this one. Using that info I went in and they had three of each at roughly $21 and $27. Gonna install now.
 
I scored 2 A70s for $26.99 each and a A50 for 19.99 @ the Best Buy in Fox Point, WI...

Those were the last 2 A70s... I left one of the A50s, no need to be greedy... ;)
 
Two A70's left at the Superstition Springs Best Buy in AZ as of 12:30 this afternoon. Just picked up one for myself for $24.99
 
was browsing at the local BB and saw the markdown and snagged an A70 for $24.99. Don't really need it but then neither do my wife and daughters need to buy all the shoes, clothes and purses they have:D
 
Looks like a bunch in encino, ca. Going first thing tomorrow to grab one. At 24$ they are a steal. Plus I have 2 GT's fans which should really excel on this heatsink

Just a thought ... It's been $43-$46 on the Egg and Amazon w/ FS and $15 rebate. That's ~$30 AR without the hassle of going to the trouble of arranging for someone to purchase and ship you the item.

just got an a70 from one of the cincinnati locations. Still 1 A70 and 5 a50's left.
 
is this cooler better than the artic cooling Freezer 13 ?

because i can't decide between the 2
 
Thanks, grabbed the A70 in south Austin - they had 1 A70 and 2 A50's left, 26.99 for the a70.

Hopefully this thing works well with my 2500k :D
