Does HDMI 1.3 AV receiver work with 3D?

3D was introduced in 1.4.
Processing 3D, 1.4, is expensive compared to 1.3; most 1.3 hardware will never support 1.4, due to the physical limitations of the hardware, with the exception of something like a PS3 which has all the power it needs and simply required a firmware update.

It wont pass through. I have the same issue with my Yamaha RX-3800. If I plug my PS3 into my yamaha it wont detect my 3d samsung. If I plug from the ps3 to the samsung everything is fine. I hate HDMI lol.
