Hi, I have an ethernet running to my WDTV (network media streamer) near my TV and have just got an xbox (also located at the same TV) that also needs an ethernet connection for it to connect to Xbox Live.
Running another ethernet to the Xbox is not an option as I have already used up all 4 ethernet ports on the back of my router. So I need a Network Switch near my TV so that I can connect both my Xbox and WDTV at the same time.
I am totally at loss at what Switch to buy because they vary in price so much.
Will a cheap Switch like this be fine for me:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8-po...)-10-100-switch-(auto-mdi-mdi-x-flow-control)
Or are there certain features that the Switch needs to have in my situation?
Thank you
Edit: Both the WDTV and Xbox 360 run at 100mbps (Not gigabit) so I'm guessing I dont need to spend the extra on a gigbit switch
