I wonder what would happen if I flipped this switch? Microsoft admitted it was behind the outage that interrupted service and deleted user accounts due to a script error. Where is Microsoft Bob and Clippy when you really need them? :p

Because the problem had not happened before and because it affected a relatively small number of users, Microsoft did not immediately recognize the severity of the problem.

In other words, there was an "OOOPs" and the person who saw it said "I hope no one notices".
 
I feel the need to defend here I have had hotmail for what 8 years and its been great. skydrive, mesh all the microsoft free services have treated me well
 
^^^ same, never had an issues and i have 4 hotmail accounts. I think as usual, people bash something cause it was made by microsoft, shall we go back on problems gmail has had over the years?
