HardOCP Question on SSD

G.Skill (I own one)
OCZ
Crucial

I have confidence in Sandforce controllers, and I eagerly await the next design.

intel - reliability - and i have one :D
crucial - sata 6 - which is cool, and my motherboard supports it
insert sandforce maker here - i really dont care, all of the sandforce's are so neck in neck in performance, that i'd probably end up choosing them based on cosmetics

Seconded this.

Only Intel, Crucial at the moment.

This tech is improving so fast my choices change every quarter or two.

I have 3 Intel 160 GB units, two for myself and one for my wife and I chose them at the time for reliability reasons. I have been using them for a year without issue and can't imagine using a computer without one. (The second one I picked up was for my work machine.)

Seems the other vendors have closed or are closing the gap in regards to reliability and Crucial certainly seems to be the perf king at the moment.

I'll be building a Sandy Bridge box this year and I'm leaning toward a Crucial SSD for the build.

Intel, Corsair, Kingston in that order. OCZ is in the trash bin class.

I bought a Samsung SSD and I am loving it. Great price, excellent performance.

Intel & maybe Corsair. I've got intel now, but am tempted by the Corsairs

Intel, Crucial and ??? I would have said OCZ normally but they are deteriorating - not necessarily in the SSD product but it makes you concerned if it will spill into that.

Intel, Kingston, Crucial. If the new sandforce 2xxx series turns out fantastical you can replace crucial with whoever picks it up that isn't OCZ.

Intel, Intel, Intel. OCZ will never be on my list, not after all the trouble I had with their SSDs.
