ok since i switched to smp and pass key it says iv done 11 wu with 20% successful wu's?

if i returned 11 with none failed why do i have 20% wu successful. also someone said you have to have 10 units with 80% successful rate is this true?

If I recall correctly, you were working on overclocking recently. Are you sure your overclock is completely stable? If not, it could be messing with your results which I suppose could make you have a low return rate. Also, you might check your logs and see if there's anything wrong,
This says you do have to have an 80% success rate under the section "Bonus point formula," so I assume you'll have to get up to 80% before you get the bonus

yeah its possible a couple failed over night during your overclocking run. like khwain said check your log if you havent closed your client and see whats going on. if you have closed it and restarted the client since then. then the logs gone. so you'll just have to watch your client closely.

but if it failed it would show in the client stats that it failed wouldnt it?

it says 0 for failed WU

What shows that you didn't fail any units? If you're talking about HFM.NET, it resets its successful and failed unit counts every time you close and reopen the program.

talking about FAH GPU tracker

If you're using hfm.net or something similar to see how many have failed, those counts will reset if you even restart the client, since I believe that those numbers are based off of the log file, which is rewritten every time you start the client. Don't know why PG chose to do that, but that's how it is. In other words, if you have restarted the client then you wouldn't be able to see if it's failed anything prior to the restart

EDIT: It seems some new posts appeared. I assume gputracker does something similar

gpu tracker reads the log file as well. all the infromation is based on the log file.

i agree i think its dumb that the log files copied over everytime you start the client. but then again at the same time ya consider how many WU's some of us do. that log file would be friggin huge after a couple months let along a years worth of folding.

on gpu tracker it shows when my gpu client has failed cause it would fetch a new work unit. and put it in there (testing overclock) ive never had to re download a new smp unit due to a failure.

its hows i have failed 4 gpu units.ive restarted the computer a couple times and still shows those failures but shows none for a smp unit.

and if thats the case wouldn't it clear out successful wu completed then?

hmm dunno then. maybe its just a glitch. watch your points and see if the points for the WU on the stats site match what the point value is for the WU on your client.

In your first post, you said that you have a 20% success rate. Where did you get that number from?

FAH GPU tracker v2 in the client stats. says 11 total WU 11 completed units 0 failed units 20%successful WU

Well, I've never used the tracker, so I can't really help with that. My only suggestion right now is to disable the SMP client in the tracker, and set it up yourself. If you need help, you can follow this guide: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1511766

If work units are being completed without issue with a separate SMP client setup, then the issue is with the tracker software. If you still have the same issue, then there is something wrong with your PC.

I'm don't how the tracker works but I can think of a reason why a report like that could show up ..............

Failure to upload a finished work-unit within the preferred time limit.

How close to the preferred time are you running ??

Luck ........... :D

says i have 4 days to do it im getting it done in like 8 hours.

The FAH Tracker client stats report is showing % successful for the chosen client out of the total clients run on your computer. So for example I have SMP and four GPU clients. Under the SMP report it says:
Total WUs: 52
WUs Successful: 51
WUs Failed: 1 [lost a bigadv last night when I was rearranging my boxen]
% Successful WUs: 39.5%
% Failed WUs: 0.8%
% Total WUs Complete: 39.5%

Each of my four GPU clients has done about 20 WUs, for 15% of total output or 60% for all GPU clients comboned. Including SMP, that adds up to 100%.

The report isn't very clear, and some numbers like % of total points don't seem to be working. Either this is a bug in the report, or this is how it's intended to work and it's just confusing. Anyway, the WUs failed # is the important one, so you're good.

Looks like the math is screwy in the code.

Yeah, I think the "% Successful WUs" number is being confused with "% Total WUs Complete". There is a newer version of the tracker, but I haven't downloaded it yet for fear of borking another bigadv.

edit: I PM'ed jedi95 with a link to this thread.
