I thought one of Best Buy's best higher end LED LCD combos so far has been the 40" LG LED backlit with the 250GB 360 and any game you want ($60) for $999. Although $300 more for an extra 6" is not bad either. I like Sony and LG as far as large LCD's go. I would be happy with either. The LG was only 120Hz though, not 240 like this Sony.

I seem to recall that the $1299 deal was for the EX, not the HX (that was the $1699 deal).

the HX deal was so much better too... 46inch hx800 + PS3 + 3d starter kit (2 glasses transmitter, hdmi cable and alice in wonderland in 3d)

all for $1699

I got the 120Hz version of this for $599 back in September. This doesn't seem like a great deal at all.

Actually it was 1499 for that deal.... I got the nx800 because I liked the look of the tv and I honestly (while cool) don't see myself actually watching 3Dtv. The 1499 deal wasn't advertised BTW although it was in the system, my room mate is a sales manager for BB. Either way it was below their cost a great deal.

nope 1699... i bought one

I am a dealer rep for a competing TV manufacturer, and I sold more of those Sonys (46" PS3 bundle) than I did my product last Sunday, when the ad came out. That is a supah sexeh TV, with a great picture at that price. F**k all yer stats, specs, and arguements. Best TV deal out there right now, on a mid-level set. That is one of my favorite TV's personally right now, for picture quality at that price, and styling. I hate the Sony corporation too, BTW, but that is a helluva set.
