[warm] MSI 460 1gb @ Newegg $160 AR FS

Yeah not bad for that beast... 3 year warranty too, but I haven't heard much about their RMA process.

Anyone have experience with that? Or any quality MSI cards that didn't need RMA even after 3+ years?

It appears they have an RMA actually in the USA (in L.A) (that's a plus lol)..... and they have good customer feedback on the low reviews
 
I can voice for both, I did a couple MSI RMAs a few years ago and while the operation was clearly low budget (on the phone the asian tech support guys were eating with a TV on in an apartment-like environment, you could hear people laughing and everything) they did a great job on the RMA and gave me an upgrade in return for the card I sent. Also had a MSI 8800 GT that worked solid for year after year overclocked, the thing was a rock.
 
Sweet deal, haha.... I've always heard good stuff, just never about faulty units (just in case, happens with them all)

I'm really quite enamored with their products recently, they are my #1 choice for motherboards and always my #1 or #2 choice for nvidia graphics cards (EVGA being the other). I used to buy a lot of Gigabyte but the last 12 months have shown me the error of my ways (significant failures coupled with resulting RMA nightmares).
 
I've rma'd 2 MSI cards so far (damn 7900gt kept crapping on me), got a card back pretty much a day after they recieved it. Living a mile away from them helps too :D
 
that's a hot deal alright.

I just paid that price for evga 768mb models (no MIR though of course)
 
Anyone else own this card that can comment on fan noise vs the reference coolers? Is it an aggressive fan profile? Also, can we bump the voltage up enough now to hit 1Ghz?
