I'm currently using Ultrasone HFI-700, which was purchased in 2004. It is showing signs of age and wear as it has developed cracks around some of the screw holes, but still work just as well and sound just as fabulous as it did when I got them new.
After reading the [H] review on these Corsairs, I am really interested in checking out how their 5.1 emulation sound.
Old Plantronics set with a mic. They aren't bad except for the fact that the head phone jack of my Dell laptop pics up all sorts of garbage interference from who knows where... Digital audio is the way to go!
For a "headset," I use a pair of earbuds that came with my 4GB Sansa, plus a busted earbud-plus-mic that I loop over my left ear. It works, but that's about the only good thing I can say about it.
