Can anyone recommend a good home theatre speaker system that has a small subwoofer?

I don't like system with big subs because they tend to shake the room. Also I live in a quiet neighborhood,so I rarely turn up the volume. Ideally the speakers should be as small as possible. Wireless ones are okay too if they are good.

Thanks in advance.

Small and low frequency are contra indicated. Bass waves are huge, it takes a large speaker to produce them properly. 20 pounds is a very small sub. My sub is 60 pounds, and only that light because it is a cylinder sub instead of a box one.

Actually, Totem makes a tiny sub that is really good considering the size. Depends if you want to spend that kind of $$. I think it is around $500?

Check out the energy RC-Micro 5.1 . Sounds better than the take 5 and the sub is slightly smaller. You will pay a premium to get a tiny sub. You can always turn down the power on the sub to lower its output if you want less bass or lower the gain on the receiver for the sub out

the mirage system is nice, I have heard it before on the sound floor and its a good system!

I have the Energy RC-Micro. Its a decent system, very small, and affordable ($400). The downside is that the satellite speakers can only go down to about 150HZ.
