Call of Duty Black Ops in Eyefinity :-)

Lookin' good. I haven't had any of the stuttering / lagging issues people seem to complain about. Crossfire + Eyefinity from day 1. Most recent application profiles make this game scream in xfire triplewide.

yeah was going to say, people have been praising the new application profile that just came out if ya havent tried it yet but looks like your only running a single card.

nice work on the system by the way. looks bad ass with the custom cables.

I'm going Dual 6970's as soon as they release. Just sitting here waiting with a grand in my pocket. I'll report back on the difference in FPS between one 5870 and one 6970 and 2 6970 as soon as it happens.

I gotta say.... nice fancy setup but non-HD video? ;-)

haha,jk Nice.... I'd envy you but It has always annoyed me the way 3 monitors have 2 plastic bevels dividing each display. I think they make a new LCD now that the picture just as wide, but its only 1 panel and its heavily curved. I can't think of it.... EDIT: here it is. Sooooo sick.

That resolution would annoy me though I think. 2880 x 900? blech :(

you get use the bezels really quickly. you just look at the monitor like you would with a single display. only you use the left and right monitors in your peripheral vision to catch slight movements. you dont actually look at them while your playing unless your camped out up high with a sniper rifle looking for targets(obviously not in COD:BO).

Wouldnt portrait mode be better? instead having it wide and narrow?

the thing with doing portrait in an FPS is that the bezels do get in the way a lot more. since they actually take up a portion of the screen that you need. but in RTS games for example portrait is a lot more useful.

Tell you what, if they improve the resolution to compete in size and resolution with my 3x24's, I'd be interested....not at $6500 though. Maybe $2000.

Acutally I enjoy playing my FPS in portrait mode. I think it all becomes preference on the user.
