Well, seeing as kid #2 is coming down the pipes and that I'm hoping to garner a 4-door vehicle, computer parts have been pushed to the back burner. Winning some stuff might help convince the missus that I should pick up the rest I didn't.

I want one of those motherboards so I can finally upgrade my second gaming PC. :D

I need the GA-880GMA-UD2H because my GA-MA785GPMT shot sparks at my wife and then took a crap from O/Cing my new 1090T.

would be a great reason to finally buy stuff to build a nas or new vm host. making due with what i happen to have is getting annoyingn

building a new system to replace my Wife's crappy laptop, please help me make her happy...

I want one of these, either of them, so I can build a boxen for Folding@Home - Team 33! w00t!

The P55 mobo would allow me to finally get the upgrade I've been saving up for since...well, forever! =D

Declaring this person a winner would promptly increase the [H]orde's folding output.

well I could use a new mobo for my server, the current one is getting a bit long in the tooth, a Gigabyte 8KNXP running 2gb of ram and a P4 3.0 HT, its running a little slow, though it might just need a clean install I would rather do that on a rebuild of the entire system.

My motherboard is slowly going out on me. It won't boot cold, and I usually have to hit the reset button a few times before it will boot into windows. There have been a few occasions where the computer would act really slow during boot, and refuse to start. Fortunately the problems mysteriously disappear as randomly as they come.

The machine is from 2006, and I know the board needs to be replaced. I've just been putting it off to save money.

why with one of these I could open the gates of Lok`thar!

I would LOVE the 880GMA-UD2H. I have a brand new Athlon II processor sitting here with no home! I've been wanting to get another folding box up and going this winter. If I got this motherboard, the only other thing I would need is some RAM, and I'd be up and running with another folding box. :D

I tell people who ask that Gigabyte boards are great and I'm still running a C2D 6300.
