Catch a Ride on the World’s Fastest Roller Coaster

QUOTE=Jeremy C;1036393295]Looks a lot like Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar point. It's not quite as fast, but 0-120 in 3.8 seconds is about the quickest acceleration I'll ever experience. It's the shortest coaster I've ever been on, but there is nothing like that launch.[/QUOTE]

There is also The Superman ride in Six Flags in CA. Shoots out 0-100 in 3 or 4 seconds, can't remember the time but the same premise. Fast and short = unsatisfied

Pretty short ride. I guess there's a limit to how long one can sit in stinky drawers.

Interesting, this coaster goes 150mph, yet only has a height of 170ft. Kingda Ka reaches 456ft @ 128mph, while top thrill dragster reaches 420ft @ 120mph. Makes you wonder if it really goes 150mph, or if the turns it has have major Gs.

I don't even think it goes to 100 since it doesn't go to the top. I think it only went to the top of the track during the first few months it was open. That said, superman is awesome since there are times during the year when the park is empty and you can ride it over and over again, and watch a penny float above your hand, or you can toss pebbles off it.

Oh I just checked rcdb and apparently they're remaking the ride so the seats face the other way. This will make throwing objects off it less enjoyable.

It looks cool enough to try because it's so fast, but I bet loops and crazy corkscrews are overall just more fun and "extreme".
