Deus Ex dev answers trailer questions
Is every option (choice you have to make in order to progress) obvious/presented clearly before you?
No. Absolutely not. Some choices will be presented in ways that the outcome will be more obvious but, a lot of choices will be more or less hidden in the challenges you face and in the narrative...

In before doesn't suck but is incredibly mediocre.
Meh I'm expecting it to be as bad as 2, if it's anything better I will be impressed. If they can make it as good as the first one it will be the best day of my life!
As much as any developer tries to prevent linear progression, a game will be nothing but linear. I think the argument is really how well it amuses the person to prevent the filling of linear boredom. Which will, obviously, be relative.
Extremely unimpressed and very expected. Any trailer that "quick-cuts" every 1.5 seconds is hiding linear/dumb gameplay. The same thing happened with Invisible War and it was just as true when I said it then as it is now.

Not a really comparable trailer. Heavy Metal music and a combat montage? No...
This new trailer actually showed sneaking around, inventory management, various ways to approach a situation and hacking. Sure there were a lot of cuts, and no doubt their hiding some of the short-comings of the game, but that is typical of any trailer.
Some people just want to hate.
it will be consolized
