My plan to have an awesome Christmas this year is to win this contest, the HD one, the headset one, and then win a new processor/MB/RAM contest.

I like a high quality build with reasonable price. Nothing epic there. I've owned a few Seasonic PSUs that have fit this bill.

quality and reliability is the most important. this is whats powering all my heavy folding gear!

I just want something cheap that does its job reliably. Modularity, casing, fan noise, and efficiency aren't much of a concern.

I look for a PSU that will provide all of my devices with a steady supply of power, and last for years to come. I also like when they are heavy.

I only buy Seasonic PSU's and I look for quality and modular cables. I rely on HardOCP among others to point me in the right direction. I sure would love to have one of these bad boys! :D

I look for one that still has smoke inside. Once that smoke gets out, they don't seem to be the same ever again. Efficiency is good too though.

Only for American Citizens ( I never gunna win anything from H at this rate :( )

I will toss my name in the hat and if I am lucky, I will give it to someone from the states who posted in this thread :)

What I look for in a psu is, it's performance. It must be extremely stable and efficient and quiet whilst having enough connections to satisfy the most ardent PC enthusiast.

Most of all, it MUST serve good clean power to my components, no point in having a power supply that is efficient if it isnt giving out clean power.

Honestly

Build Quality
Efficeincy
Full Modular

I will never buy a non-full modular psu again.

One thing that most modular psu lacks is they do not make the 24pin atx cable also modular as well as the pci-e cables. Another thing is the modular cables from the sata and molex are that connect to the PSU is the shape of pci-e connectors. Makes making custom cables easy unlike my corsair 620hx.

Hoping to pick up a Seasonic X-series since it has real modular cabling.

A solid supply, all of the circuit protections
OVP SCP UVP etc..
80+ is great but takes a spot behind rock solid voltage
Low turn on spikes
reliability and build quality
doesn;t hurt for it to look pretty :D matte black with gold highlights fits that bill imo ;)

absolutely need a quiet, efficient, relable power supply. have had my 650 in my htpc for about a year with not a problem :)

Let's see, I look for a 80 Plus Bronze or higher rating, high quality internals, modular cables, nice sleeving, and a good long warranty. No cheap shit for me!

When I buy my PSU I want it wrapped in a nice microfiber cloth that can also be used to clean my LCD and case.
