Gotta hear those mo hawked raiders in Fallout New Vegas :D

It'll be nice to have some good surround sound again, I remember using it back in my CS days to get the jump on people... I love it how people would call you a cheater even if you were playing legit.

Also, I didn't know Corsair was going into headphones, I hope they live up to making good quality, they did very good in their ram business.

- Oh, grandmother, what big headphones you have!
- All the better to frag you with.

I want to see if these Corsair headphones let me hear more clanking and fighting than my current Grado SR-60 headphones.

Really.....How many times do I have to be stabbed in the back before I realized the need for Corsair's HS1

I used to have a really nice pair of Sennheisers a few years ago until my dog chewed them to pieces. Haven't had a nice set since :/ Would love a nice set again.

So I don't have to crank my speakers up late at night to hear subtle sounds like footsteps over my system fans.

I work evenings so when I get home late at night I like to game and while I have a couple of headsets I cant really brag about either one. I have a lot of money and personal time invested into my hand crafted machine and I have nice speakers but I really desire a great set of phones for my night time gaming.

While always striving to maintain sound quality in directional sound. In reality i simply need to replace the Logitech & more recent Altec Lancing headsets i have been using with something that the ear pieces wont literally break off of like the last 3 pair i have had. Nothing better than wearing a headset with only 1 earphone!

I have never owned a "gaming headset" and would really like to try out a set before I reach that ever so critical age where my hearing diminishes and I have to repeatedly ask my wife "what did you say?" Eh?!? LOL. Oh well.. in for the win.

I need one so I can hear vent better... well, depends if they're playing obnoxious music or not!

I don't need them because I use wired Sennheiser 580s...which is a bit like using your Porsche to haul firewood. But it would be nice to have something designed for use as a gaming mic-hdphn combination; currently I use a Shure SM58 for the microphone, but I have to lean close to use it. A combo setup would be much more ergonomic.

Because my cheap $17 Logitech headphones have a broken right ear pierce so it hurts to wear after awhile. The mic is also bad as while I play TF2 everyone says I do the perfect impression of the Pyro.

If it helps, my birthday really is on Tuesday. Better late then never [H]ard.

I need to be able to better differentiate between game sounds and people on Ventrilo. They'd also appreciate the reduction in echo echo echo echo echo.

I need to hear my games better because while graphics are shiny and nice, nothing really sets the mood and fully immerses you in the experience like sound! Anybody that has ever played a survival/horror game or first person shooter will tell you the same thing.

"If you managed to kill them, I assure you they were not wearing this (the Corsair HS1)." - Blue Spy, about these incompetent cowards.

I'd like to hear what this "dolby audio" is all about. Oh and corsair is my favorite brand for PC parts! why not a great set of cans for gaming

So I can concentrate on talking to my buddy in Bad Company 2 and blowing things up, while at the same time blocking out my girlfriend and the sounds and music of The Sims 3!

Because so much work and effort goes into the sound in everything on pc games and movies. We would be missing out if not for a good sound system.

Also when someone passes out from extensive computing/gaming the last thing to go is hearing.

I spent all my money the last few years on materials for cases and use a $2 WalMart set (just too damn embarrassing at Lan Parties)

It would be cool to have a bad ass set of cans to match my case...

I need sound that isn't from 10 year old Z560 speakers...and stop pissing off the neighbors.

Audio in games are so key. It's unreal how much you often miss without decent headphones or speakers.
