I work weird hours as an IT manager, and when I want to get my game on, I want to be considerate of my wife and daughter and this would solve my problem. And it would go great with my 800D and my 1000 watt Corsair power supply!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

I need to hear games better because The G35 I use for WoW raids sounds all echo'y in Ventrillo *shrug* And I like shiny new things PC related.

I would like a new headset because the 5 dollar headset hurts my head and I don't want to wake my Daughter up after bed time.

i need to be able to talk in vent for WoW, and so i can stop getting slaughtered in all the FPS LANs i go to. maybe if i can hear them coming, i won't suck as much?

I need to hear my games better because right now I can't hear much (or say anything) on my old busted headset, which is definitely a necessity when one has a small child and it's time to turn off the 5.1.

My current Sony headphones stink, and Corsair is a brand I trust for cases and power supplies, so why not try their headphones.

I've been using the same old headset I got with the special edition of Unreal Tournament 2004. It's really time for an upgrade, but I've blown all my cash on a new (and beautiful) rig.

Help!

My old headphones broke and every now and then it's nice to not bug my roommates with game sound.

I need a set of these badboys to replace my aged Sony's with the earpads flaking away and my ghetto mic setup. It's so bad that I just use my speakers...but then the g/f gets all angry that theres a war going on in our office! With these I can have the war in my head...50mm drivers FTW!

Because I want to enjoy the High Quality experience of my speakers without my neighbors enjoying (read: not enjoying) it too.

I just want to be able to be clearly heard and understood on ventrilo. not such a hard thing to ask huh?

I need to clearly hear my squad mates, as well as hear where the enemy is coming from (left, right, or from behind). This headset should serve these purposes amazingly.

Because every time I look at my 700 watt 7.1 surround sound setup that I can't use during most of my gaming hours I cry a little on the inside.

Because Jim Carlton said so. Honestly...a good headset has been hard to find. My detachable mic didn't cut it and now the Microsoft pair I have aren't very good either. I'm old and need all the hearing help I can get.

I need to hear my games better...

Because I have kids man!

Do you have any idea how much noise those can make?

I need a good headset so I can play games and not drive my wife nuts with all the "noise".

Looks promising, I've been using expensive sennheiser headphones for the last 10 years in gaming and people always wondered how I did so well. The only problem was there's no god damn microphone! IF these can produce very high quality sound and they have a mic, I'm all in.

I need some good quality headphones so I can play, listen to music and communicate with teammates all while not waking up the pregnant wife and future baby.

Been on same crappy headphones the last 10 years, and technology has improved vastly! Just can't afford it.

I usually only get to play games in the evenings after the kids are in bed. I'd love to crank up the speakers, but that has a tendency to wake up the kids (especially the newborn), and that means I have to leave the game to restore order:p. I could *really* use a good headset to replace the earbuds I currently have.

Sign me up for one!

I want to be able to hear my enemies virtually sneaking up behind me. It could mean the difference between life and death!

I could use these as my computer is currently in the living room and the TV gets priority over sound; with these I would be able to actually hear my games!

Hey, I'm still using old Logitech 4.1 speakers that NEVER seem to work right with the software. A lot of programs and games somehow only send sound to the front two speakers even though Windows can send a sound to each speaker individually. I've tried discrete sound cards and onboard sound with various chipsets, but it is always the same. Maybe I just need to stick to stereo headphones!

I need to hear my games better because without great sound, a video game is nothing more than a stream of pretty pictures.

1- Kill pixels
2- Kill more and more pixels
3- Ok yeah, no more sound from "ambient distraction" (wife, kids etc...) ;-)

Seriously, more and more game are starting to have amazing sound tracks and "sound" ambience. Having a good set of speaker AND/OR a good headset just give you more of this ambience. That's why I want em!

I have to admit, it's not actually so I can hear better, but so that everywhere else in the house is quieter.

The wife gets upset when she's startled awake at 1AM by the latest go around in TF2.

So I can actually start hearing the game and not my wife yelling...turn that down! :D
