i need to hear footsteps of enemy insurgents in COD black ops, to show the world who your daddy is.

I need to be able to use Ventrillo to communicate on raids while listening to good tunes.

Would love to be able to better hear people in ventrilo while listening to lower sound effects/music in WoW among other games.

Using a good set of headphones AND a good mic has not been an option with gaming headsets until recently. I need to hear my games better so I can react effectively and communicate to my team what I am hearing.

Because it's hard to be immersed in a game when you can hear the dogs bark and the wife moaning about another honey-do (if asked I'll deny ever making this statement).

So I can ignore family and everyone else coming to my door asking me for my money...That's my GPU money!

I need a new set of headphones so I can hear the person in front of me talking. My current headphones have developed a weak center channel....

I have my computer setup in the room next to where my baby boy sleeps. I play my games on mute or very low volume in the evening after work. :( HELP!

So I can hear everything, everywhere, everytime, and tell everyone!

Gives you the edge over your competitors. clarity is key to success!!:D

I remember when I went from using onboard audio and crappy speakers to my first usb headset. It was like a revelation. The sound quality was so much better, I never realized how much I was missing.

Because my cat peed in my last headset. It will not happen twice as I have claymores set for him when I leave the room.

I don't play games as often as I would like, but the sound "Other" movies is very important and can always improve

I need to hear my games better 'cause people are always sneaking up behind me and stabbing me in the back. I'm getting old so maybe if I could avoid this my chances of having a heart attack due to bloody rage would be reduced.

I need to hear Button, Schumacher, and Barrichello's cars as they try (and fail) to pass me in F1 2010.

So I can stop sucking at FPS. I can never tell where the enemy is coming from.

I need to be able to hear my enemy movements better and also hear my friends talking to me in game. Having a good headset really is an advantage as I have seen my friends that have good headsets zone in better during game play.

. . . so I can dispose of the old Logitech headset that only broadcasts out of the left side of the headset.

The things you do to talk on Vent.

Once there was a man named Avatar[DJedi]. Many years ago he and his clan of Digital Jedi dominated the online battle fields of games like Quakeworld TeamFortress and Counterstrike. But as the years passed his crappy stereo speakers gave up their dull and staticy ghosts. He tried to alieviate this with a complicated 5.1 speaker setup but his wife hated speaker cords all over the floor in the living room and unless the sound was turned up loudly he couldn't really tell if a noise was coming from 'behind' him. And obviously if the volume was turned up he could hear his opponents.... but he'd also draw wife aggro.

So his gaming days dwindled in number, and his clan went on to fight battles without him in new frontiers like TF2 and Bad Company 2. Avatar was forced to wait for occasions when the wife went out of town to visit her girlfriends. Even this was only a temporary reprieve; he knew that soon there would be small children who would never leave the house, and the gaming noises would sadly have to be silenced forever....

But still he dreamed of his glory days... if only there were some way to play games without disturbing the wife...

If only there was some setup that could allow him to pinpoint where his enemies were...

If only there was some MIRACULOUS invention that would allow him to have headphones and a microphone work in glorious unison instead of having to plug your rockband microphone from your ps3 into a usb outlet and have the microphone sit in a mug because you don't have any other way to support it...

If only I had headphones I could then hear my games and the glorious sounds of my enemies' defeat without disturbing my wife.

Then the only thing I'll need is a way to mute my raucous laughter as I lay ruin to my foes.

I need a new set of headphones so I don't have to keep using my earbuds... basically.. so I can hear the sounds all the time.

I was dumb and attended too many concerts and bar shows without hearing protection.

I heard that Commander Shepard said that this was his favorite headset on the citadel. Can he be wrong?? :)

'Cause I'm old and don't hear very well but my wife is young and flinches every time she hears "BOOM!! Headshotttttt....

I need to hear my games better because I have weak mid-frequency hearing and my current onboard Realtek sound card leaves me wondering what I am missing in my gaming audio experience.

I need to hear my games better because I'm OLD! I use headphones not just for gaming, I also use them for skype conferences with work (since I work from home) So I really need to be able to hear my boss in a conference call or if he is yelling "get this jockey off me!" in L4D2, my job could depend on it, you dont want me to get fired and become homeless do you?

I need a pair of the Corsair headphones so I can get the gaming edge on those damn 12 year olds :p.

I need a good set since my tinnitus keeps acting up and need volume I can control better.
