Wireless Keyboard/Mouse for 3d Animation/Rendering?

Hey guys-

Kind of sick of using a crappy Dell keyboard and USB mouse for my rendering and audio work. I prefer the clean look of a wireless setup.

I just want to make sure the products are up to snuff. I do some gaming but I don't know if it's enough to warrant a dedicated mouse or keyboard for such....

I just want a nice, sleek keyboard and a mouse that's responsive and has a good middle click button and scroll wheel (a MUST for maya)

Anyone have any suggestions? seems like most here is gaming specific, so I'm curious to get some other opinions.

I use a MX Rev for my mouse (getting rid of it because of faulty battery/charge issue). Any mouse Logitech puts out with the METAL scroll wheel will be fine. I broke many a mouse mmb's because of heavy use in Maya/Lightwave. I got some of the extra buttons mapped to the function keys for animation/dynamics/polygons layout.

But if you're on all day, get wired, no one likes to wait for a mouse/kb to charge up.

This looks like a great wireless keyboard. Nice and clean, and I read good things about it in another thread.

The G700 is an extremely impressive gaming mouse, but it might be overkill for Maya (and the battery life isn't superb). Take a look at Logitech's wireless mice, or even their mice/keyboard combos. There are plenty to choose from!

Microsoft also makes many decent wireless periperhals.
