Sigh. Why can't somebody make a 24" LCD for me?

All I want is a 24" IPS panel that does 1920x1200 that I can use out of the friggen box, like my old Dell 2407.

I don't want to have to caliborate it or anything to get a "decent picture quality".

Here is to wishful thinking.

Wow, you mean you could use your Dell 2407 "right out of the box" without even having to plug it in? That's amazing. ;)

The 1900x1200 requirement is going to limit your options (I also prefer 16:10 btw).

I think the Dell U2410 and HP ZR24w will be on your short list.

FragMagnet si right, you have to adjust monitor to you lightning conditions and your preferences, no need for professional calibration.
Just consider spending an hour setting the monitor you are going to use for many hours a day.

(Note: Standard gamut or good sRGB emulation saves you a big headache.)
