I'd like some suggestions for a glove that will help with sweaty palms while pc gaming. Thanks in advance for the help.

hey, i know someone who uses a glove when gaming. they use a bicyling glove that has open fingers. supposedly the material is built to resist the sweat also, go to a bike shop and have a look around.

Are you fully commited to this? Seems like that would interfere with movement of your hand and be an annoyance.

My hands get pretty sweaty at times, but I've noticed since using the G9 (Precision grip) it's been completely a non-issue. A similar mouse with this type of material may be a wiser choice.

If you're commited though, outspoken is correct - some bicycle gloves do have material to stop sweat and such. Some would definitely screw with the ability to hold a mouse though as they have quite a bit of padding - you'd obviously want to avoid those.

Something like this.

Maybe consider a small USB fan or desktop fan instead (aimed at your mouse hand obviously).

Thanks for the information :) I think bike gloves may be too stiff and hinder movement but I will do some checking around.
I came across this in my search and was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it. http://www.steelseries.com/int/reseller/content/products/steelseries_gaming_glove

The suggestion of changing mouse type to a G9 is also noted but I'm wondering about the form factor. I've been using a Logitech MX500 for the past 7 years without a hitch so I'm really used to the shape of it. The material on the grip looks right for the job though. If push come to shove I'll see if I can get some cash for that to make the switch.

I tried that before and it really doesn't help. My room is air conditioned and my palm still sweats. I know it's not from actual heat in any way because I only have the problem while gaming and not from everyday computer use like browsing etc. I think it's from the concentration @_@

I use lint-free cotton gloves sometimes when I have this problem. I.e. the kind that photo finishers use when they don't want to get fingerprints and smudges on things. I haven't bothered to cut the fingertips off but that's something you could do if you wanted a little more feel. I've tried some of my bike gloves but they have a lot of padding around the palm area which makes them kind of awkward.

Have you tried using some rubbing alcohol when they start to get sweaty? 70% isopropyl from any drug store will do. Rub your hands down with it and see how it goes. This is used to treat hyperhidrosis in general.

Yep, this should dry your hand out right quick. Don't overdo it or you'll end up with cracked skin though.

never knew they had sweat gloves. lol, don't really have super sweaty hands so never needed to look one up. I did get that pc glove to fight hand strain.

If you have hyperhidrosis why not just use drysol or drycare?

Or is this just sweat from hardcore gaming?

Dude if your hands start to sweat, you need to get some air!! Put off gaming for like a couple of days. Your health comes first.

It only happens when gaming and I do get air. I don't understand the health statement O_O
