Craigslist confirmed today that they had shut down the adult services section and would be permanently terminated. It is still unclear if the termination applies only to the United States or be extended worldwide.

Powell outlined the various efforts Craigslist has made to monitor adult services ads, including pre-screening all submissions and working with state attorney generals, law enforcement, non-governmental organizations and others. "Craigslist has been one of the few bright spots and success stories in the critical fight against trafficking and child exploitation," he said.

I have never used Craig's List but I now have more of a reason to then ever (if the canadian version has it).

Why would killing a pregnant woman be legally considered as two deaths?

+1 for Craigslist move. They should remove adult categories entirely from their other country sites.

Yeah, this infuriates me! I wanted to kill this chick once, but she was pregnant, so I was like.. NUH-UH, I'm not spending TWO lifetimes in prison. TOTALLY not worth it.
 
Awesome, so the rest of craigslist will now be over run by adult ads, it'll just be in the "other" category or some shit. Way to go idiots.

thank goodness they have finally solved this prostitution problem for good!
