You have the right to remain off Twitter. Every link you click can and will be held against you. You have the right to tweet requesting an attorney but Twitter records those tweets too.

An e-mail announcement Wednesday night said "all users" will soon be switched over to Twitter's t.co link-shortening service and, once that happens, "all links shared on Twitter.com or third-party apps" will use it. In addition, the company said, when anyone clicks "on these links from Twitter.com or a Twitter application, Twitter will log that click."

and sell that data to the googles will then sell it to the highest bidder aggregated with all your other intarwebz data.
 
As long as they don't let the spammers and virus freaks use it like bit.ly does!!
 
I don't click on a lot of links on Twitter anyway and the ones I do click on I'm not sure I'd care if anyone recorded since the people I follow really wouldn't post links that I'd worry about being recorded. Well except Jim Sterling. Knowing him he'll post a few things that people wouldn't want recorded when they click on it.
 
i follow some porn stars..they(she) is always uploaded #nsfw stuff...it's awesome..but, i don't want those a-holes recording it.

So, I heard the Police are getting back together; Sting says he has a sure fire hit theme song they can sell and rake in the cash with.

"Every link you click. Every mouse you flick. Every Internet chick, every single bit, we'll be watching you."
 
Ha! Get millions hooked, then record everyones clicks, locations and everything. Create custom ads, change privacy policies on the fly that maybe 2% will notice, and sell their information to the highest bidder! :(
