Google Street View Drives By "Dead" Child

Google needs to stop invading my privacy! If I want to keep dead bodies in my yard I will, damnit!

Parenting FTW!

"”A neighbour mentioned the road was on Google Street View and they’d seen a girl lying on the floor.

”As soon as I heard that I knew it was Azura. She’s always playing on the pavement.”"

How do we know this was a real girl? Perhaps it was a dummy, and looking up close (driving by) might have made it obvious.

If the girl was real, then the questioning should concentrate more on who had her lying in a dangerous location and not why a driver didn't stop while his bosses were undergoing a media entrapment.

Frickin' frackin'...just read the entire article. Kid playing a prank. Just give me my dunce hat and sit me in the corner for reading failure. :(

this entire "news item" is stupid.

lets see if I can break it down for you.

girl sees google van driving along taking photos

people already know what these vans look like and will pose for them, ie: look at other photos in the original story

girl runs ahead of van and lies in street
driver ignores silly girl and drives by
girl gets up and goes on about her business

now where in this sequence of events is the driver supposed to "help" or contact the police?

Invented news about a non-reaction to a non-event troll. People who see dead kids dont drive by non-chalantly. More than likely the driver say the kid lay down, or didn't see the kid at all.
But hey! Lets drive up some drama by assuming he hates kids and watched her bleed out for giggles.

+1 indeed.

LOL, this might be the best thing to come out of this entire thread :p

Google Street View is not in the business of saving dead children; it's in the business of taking pics of streets. :p

c'mon, the driver couldn't stop to check on th 9 year old face down in the street? Couldn't call the cops / ambulance? Couldn't report it to his supervisor?

...a nine year old face down in the street?

...really?

Had it been your kid face down in the street and no one said anything UNTIL it pops up on street view, your "outrage fail" attitude might be different.

...wait...were you the driver? ;)

probably because we are missing a couple frames where the guy driving the google car see's the kid lay down in the street before he gets there.. with the amount of pranks they see every day i wouldnt of called the cops either..

Maybe they saw him run to the street and lie down to play dead, and rolled their eyes and kept on going.
It's entirely possible the driver saw in the distance the girl walk over to that spot, and lay down.
That being said, it might have been funny to call the cops to the scene and have her explain.

True, true. That very well could have happened. I’m just the kind of person that would phone my boss and say…”a funny thing happened today…” and explain why there was a “dead girl” on my route today. Hence, avoiding the issue.

I don't know. They might be respecting her privacy.

LOL!!!

As for “not seeing” that body…jesus man, you shouldn’t be on the road in a professional capacity if you miss “dead bodies” in the road. I hope that Google Street View driver never cruises by when you need an ambulance.

Just sayin’. :D

Hmm.. left side of the road.. a body.. right side of the road.. a nudie bar... considering this forum site...how many of you would look to the left? LOL

I drive 30 minutes of back roads to get home and goto work each day.. in the light and the dark... and i know i miss seeing deer all the time.. or people... or cars backing out of a driveway... or how many cops at an accident scene were wearing hats....lol.. this is exactly what the one guy said...

News Creation...

Looks like she is taking a nap to me. No worries. I applaud Google for not wasting the time of the investigative authorities. And besides, if she was actually dead someone else would have seen her soon anyways so...no biggy.
