[H] reader coldHelix sent me a picture of the most amazing work-in-progress project you will see all day. Mod a few fresh air fans in this baby, slap a big [H] on the side and this thing would be perfect!
 
Ive always wanted to make some of kind of dedicated flight simulator like that.
 
Looks more like it was custom made from IKEA grade MDF.
 
Now all it needs is a mini window unit mounted in the back and a little ducting to draw in fresh air.
 
Wow, I would do something like this if I didn't already have an entire room devoted to my computer.

I don't think that's going to keep that chair from developing its own ecosystem. :p

for sims it needs mounts on the right and left for monitors, similar to the mech cockpits of the old vr sims
 
always wanted to make something like this so i could play games louder and be in the dark, while not disturbing the family...
 
Sad thing is I have actually thought about building something like this. Add in an Eyefinity setup, 5.1, minifridge and a microwave and you wont haver to come out for anything except going to the bathroom where hopefully you will also take the time to shower!
 
World's Greatest Wank in Progress! It really does look like one of those masturbation rooms that they have in porn shops. I saw some of them when I was in Germany. Pretty disgusting. Beware the pink curtain.
 
I just hope that his PC is either water cooled or located outside of the 'box', imagine the heat in there with the door closed....bleh. It's like your own personal pc/sauna =P
 
This is what I call a CAVE!

A little tight for my liking, but I can appreciate the idea. As a teenager this would have been perfect, especially for the isolationist type.
 
For the record, this isn't my project, but it did inspire me to build one with larger dimensions and a giant [H] logo. After I get moved into my Dorm and work situated, I'm taking whats left over from my student loans to home depot to build this. Already have some plans laid out.
 
And yes, I found it on I-Am-Bored, hence the watermark :] Thanks Steve for posting this!
 
i really hope there is a a/c hooked up to that box. it is going to get hot as a mother in there!!!
