How'd you make your menubar transparent?
 
I think part of it is that he's using a different theme. Not sure which it is, but it may be the HUD version of SnowTunes. Amazing theme, by the way. I've been using it for quite some time now, and there are just a bunch of little tweaks that improve the overall look of OS X. Was using the black HUD menubar for a bit, but went back to the standard looking menubar and have stuck with it since.
 
I don't think it's Snowtunes. cristomac24, maker of Snowtunes, designed the theme to be used with transparency disabled. Enabling transparency probably disables the Snowtunes changes.
 
Oh yeah, that's right. Forgot about that. Hm, transparency works fine with the standard menubar in SnowTunes for me. I do remember turning it off when I used the HUD one, though, now that you say that.

How do you get text instead of icons? You have to make it yourself with photoshop or paint?

8gig ram is soon :) along with a SSD 160 gig intel.

Unfortunately, I searched high and low for that img and couldn't find the original anywhere. I only saved this one copy. :/

Pogo - that img was off the InterfaceLift Loupe downloads, so it wasn't technically released on the site. Although it might not be a large enough res as well, I'll upload it when I'm at my home computer where its saved.

It's been pretty good actually. It doesn't by default drain quicker because it puts flash "placeholders" on a page that only start the flash when you click on them. Depending on the complexity of the flash app, sometimes it crashes the browser, but for general sites its pretty good.

I did test it out with more complicated stuff...mafia wars ran on it...farmville (which now has its own app) did not...lol...didn't try bejewled blitz yet. ;)
