Everytime I drag a window past the top edge of the screen.... Windows 7 tries to maximize the window ..... No Idea why. How do I disable it

That is the new W7 'snap feature'. Personally I love it. But if you really want to turn it off follow this: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...e-drag-window-arranging-feature-in-windows-7/

If you are using Aero you can do Windows+Space bar and do a peak through as well.

Hi, osalcido,

Check the "How to Turn Aero Snap and Aero Shake On or Off in Windows 7" entry in the "Win7 ABCs - Great list of Windows 7 tutorials by MVP Shawn Brink!" guide.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: If Areo Snap/Shake is a problem you can always use the link I posted ... :D
